"WALA NANG MAGLULUTO para sa akin kapag nagkasakit ako." Enesha pouted, and her statement made her laugh.

'Di niya maiwasang guluhin ang buhok nito. Her black hair has now turned brunette, at ang buhok nito na hanggang sa gitna ng likod ang haba ay ngayo'y hanggang leeg na. Her hair rested freely above her shoulders.

"The detective will surely cook for you. . ." Hininaan niya ang boses upang hindi iyon marinig ng mga kapatid nito na nasa likod niya at kinindatan ito.

Enesha's cheeks immediately flushed, which made her grin.

This woman is surely in love with the detective. 

"S-Stop it, Azanthea." Umikot ang mga mata nito at saka nagpakawala ng buntonghininga bago tiningnan ang mga kapatid at tinaasan ng kilay. "Oh, kayo. Mag-practice na kayong magluto!"

"We have servants, Enesha."

"Oo nga! Madami pa nga, eh!"

"Ah, so aasa na lang kayo sa kanila parati, gano'n?" Tumaas ang isang kilay ni Enesha, and she couldn't help but bite her lower lip to suppress her smile.

Parati na lang talaga itong nagbabangayan. 

Jaxavion let out an exasperated sigh. "Oo na, magpa-practice na!" he muttered in defeat, and she heard Alex snorted. 

"Not me," a cold voice muttered, and her heart leaped.

Mabilis siyang tumikhim at pinigilan ang sarili na tingnan ito. She still gets intimidated by him sometimes. . . pero natatapunan niya naman ito ng mga biro kahit papaano. 

"Sure? I hope you find yourself soon cooking for. . ." Enesha purposedly stopped, giving her a quick look before looking at Alex again, "Baby Guinevere," she went on in a cold voice and matched Alexander's aura. 

Kumunot ang kanyang noo sa pasimpleng tingin nito. Inaasar na naman ba siya nito kay Alex? 

Inikutan niya na lang ito ng mga mata at umiling dito. She admits, Alexander. . . is somehow her ideal man.

Although he's cold, the way he cares for Guinevere and stands up for what is right made her see him in different light. 

Other than that, he cares deeply for the welfare and safety of other people. . . and that includes her. And she's fighting so hard to not let her admiration for him grow.

Delikado na. 

"I'd do anything for that kid," Alex only replied and put his hands on the pockets of his shorts before giving his sister a nod. "Take care. Bawal ka naming ihatid, and use the back gate," huling bilin nito bago tumalikod, and she fought so hard not to stare at him. 

Mabilis niyang nillingon si Enesha at niyakap ito. "Be safe, okay?" She tapped her back, and she felt Enesha's hands wrap around her. 

"You, too. Hide well." 

Muntik na siyang matawa nang marinig ang sinabi nito. They're in the same situation right now. . . hiding and running away to keep themselves safe. 

Tumango na lang siya at saka bumitaw rito. Jaxavion pulled his sister for a hug the moment they pulled apart, and she took a step back, looking at the siblings. 

"Mag-practice kang magluto, ha! Matigas si Alex, eh."

"Bakit ba ayaw mo na sila manang na lang gumawa no'n?" May inis na ani ni Jaxavion at napanguso pa. 

Bumitaw si Enesha at pinanlakihan ng mata si Jack. "Huwag mo sabihin sa akin na ang asawa mo ang magluluto parati kapag kinasal ka na?" 

Pansin niyang natigilan si Jack sa narinig. Sorrow filled his eyes for a split second bago bumuntonghininga at ginulo ang buhok ni Enesha.
