In an isolated place in Gra Valkas which was deeply guarded by an extremely tough amount of security, including anti air missiles, an isolated facility was located in which the empire realized most of its experimental technology, this was the place in which Gra Valkas created its first atomic bomb. It was made of reinforced concrete with several guard detachments outside for protection, armored vehicles kept patrol around a 2km perimeter and an air wing was prepared for combat.

In the inside, Emperor Gra Lux was walking alongside his personal assistant Karl, who was holding sets of documents. They were going to the research wing, in which they had important business within. As they walked, Gra Lux received salutes as well as Karl, who was a Lieutenant Colonel from the army.

When they reached the wing, they were greeted by an old man in his 50s who had brown short hair, with white strips that reminded people of his old age. "Greetings, your majesty." Said the research director, whose name was Arkattan, he was in lead of any technological advancement in the GvE, obviously not every single one, but he was the tip of the spear in terms of that.

"Hello Arkatten. Let's see what you've got, I received your message regarding our research in magic." Gra Lux responded with a respectful tone, then they all walked to a room that had several magic crystals and some researchers that were investigating said crystals.

"My Lord, I'll begin with the basics." Said Arkatten as he picked up a magic crystal, and began explaining. "Your majesty, we have researched the basics of magic and have learned some appliances that can help boost our technological prowess. We understand that most of the worlds powers have developed basing on magic, we can see that they do not fully understand concepts behind them. Thanks to the IPC, we have.. Uh.. "extracted" some magicians to get quality information from them. We understand they have something called "mana", it's like mana is their magic reservoir, which then they cast to create spells. We have raised an eyebrow on a country called "The Holy Mirishial Empire", in which we have collected information that its the most powerful country in the world. Being a leader in both magic and technology, we request that we send a majority of IPC operators to that country" explained Arkatten.

"I understand, I'll approve your proposal. We need to hurry and understand this concept, we can use it to our benefit, and we'll have to use it in the war against Leifor. Our expansion must be swiftly done." Said Gra Lux to which Arkatten agreed and explained something else "Something else I forgot to note, our recently launched satellites have accustomed to the orbit of Elysia, and are properly functioning. As of now, we only possess 2 recon satellites and a probe one. We expect to launch more the next year. Our missile program is going excellently, as our ICBMs and IRBMs are being implemented to our silos in our homeland. We expect to build more advanced missiles soon, counting with the help of magic, we can boost their explosive power, I theorize." Explained Arkatten

"Very well then. I want a more detailed report on everything you just said, specially magic. Send it to my desk in Ragna, I'll attach more research tools for your investigation I need to review several other plans I have been proposed, so I'll take my leave, Arkatten, if you want to request for help, ask Karl for anything." Lux said as he walked out of the room, together with Karl.

"Your Majesty, this world confuses me even more. This magic is a concern that needs to be seriously studied, I'm afraid they can do extraordinary stuff with it, I'm afraid they'll recreate Nuclear Bombs with it." Karl said, "No, Karl. I doubt any country has it, and if it does exist, they dont have the methods. Only Mu and the HME. " Rationally explained the Emperor of the GvE.
