In the great nation of Mu, who boasted of technological advances without the use of magic, civilization was thriving because of recent celebrations, as Mu had recently celebrated their anniversary, specifically their 56th. In the bustly streets of Mu, citizens from every part of the world could be seen walking around, appreciating the level of technology that Mu had, that was only surpassed by the Holy Mirishial Empire, Mu did not rely on magic for technology, but instead relied on their own scientific power.

In the Office of inteligence, chaos had erupted as they completely lost an intelligence network in Paganda. What they were told before their operatives disappeared, was that a new nation had seemingly invaded Paganda. Gorwin Roro, the director of intelligence of Mu was in a meeting room with the Emperor of Mu, "La Mu", they were discussing this disaster together with the most important men related to the spy program in Mu.

"Your majesty, we're completely blind here. This new "Gra Valkas" empire have some kind of extremely powerful intelligence system." Director Gorwin said, with a hint of worry.

"Do we have any information on them?" La Mu powerfully said, his voice echoing through the air. "We have.. unconfirmed reports of the enemy using motor vehicles and rifles. Aswell as planes and heavy artillery. We can only asume they are at our same level. We need to increase our technology if we are looking to fight them." Gorwin commented.

"Equal our technological level? That is worrisome. Extremely. They might be another transferred nation, like ours. We need to pump more resources into this, possibly get help from Japan." La Mu spoke, mentioning Japan.

Japan is a nation to the east, that is extremely technologically advanced in all fields, they went to war with a nation named Rowlia and the superpower Parpaldia around a year ago. Japan is friendly, but restricts the export of their technology to the world, only exporting things such as calculators, maps, and things that are considered "simple" in their country.

"We might need to get some more technology from them. Though it will come expensive, it will help us against the Gra Valkan Empire." Director Gorwin said as he looked at a document that was just handed to him.

"Well, your majesty we just received a telegram from one of our operatives that disappeared. He had to go offline to avoid detection. He's now in Leifor, as he had to hurriedly escape the invasion that occured in Paganda." Gorwin said as he started to read at the document, his gaze becoming more fearful as he saw more details.

"Our operative details armored vehicles, such as our tanks but bigger and more powerful, automatic weapons and monoplanes. He also details powerful battleships with a caliber of more than 380mm. Even more than our coastal defenses.." Gorwin said as he fearfully looked at the document. "This is disastrous. We need to increase our army and research just in case, we do possess monoplanes but they're in the early stages of development. Aswell as tanks and automatic weapons, we only have light machine guns, they seem to have standard issue automatic rifles." La Mu said, his serious gaze had a hint of fear, what could other weapons these foreigners have? If they weren't friendly they could easily conquer the second civilization. La Mu imagined Mykal, Otaheit, Miwell, Kewtal, Khisas, important cities to the Mu empire being bombed by planes. That was something he would not permit happening.

"Gorwin, I authorize the expansion of our spy program to investigate these invaders more. I will talk with Head Investigator Thallan so we can catch up technologically to this new threat." La Mu spoke.

The men continued debating on other aspects, Gra Valkas had become top tier interest for Mu. Mu had a decent level of technology, around of what we would call 1930-1940 levels of the UK. They have early radar, tanks, and early battleships. For example, their best ship, La Kasami, boasted of 305mm guns. But they have not researched things such as submarines, and torpedos.
