chapter 01 | dragon.

Two dragon generals from the clouds, queen Ryū and king Fuku are in the search of a new princess for their kingdom. Not seeing any potential in their daughters they begin to be dissapointed and helpless.

After getting rejected by even the lowest ranked prince they are very unpleased.

"This is no good. So many gorgeous and high ranked prince out there. Oh we're missing out a lot.." queen Ryū sighed.
"It's not that big of a deal.. you seem really tense." king Fuku said as his hands came to his wife's shoulders. "I'm sure it will be fine."

An idea shined throught the queen's mind."No! We have to get things into our own hands."
"What.. do you mean?" the king held a puzzled look.

"We'll raise another child..."
She placed her hand under his chin.
"But without having to worry about her appearience...
We'll go down to the ground and search... search for another spices that will become our succes.. i mean now.. who wouldn't want to become a dragon princess living in a large mansion? Hm.. humans have caught my eye recently.. they are very stunning like our non-dragon form.
...
Plus the young ones are pretty naive."

The king seemed to observe what the queen came up with.
"So you want to take some human's daughter, turn her into a dragon and make her the noble princess of our kingdom even if she doesn't really want it. Correct?" he wondered.

"Only if I see potential in her."

The generals roamed throught the skies in their japanese-dragon form. Their eyes tried to catch a glimpse of any place that seemed to be the home of any humans. After a long time, they came upon a small valley with a few houses. Landing in a forest nearby, they let their human form overtake them.

Walking in throught the valley to find their target, they hid their face with fans so nobody could notice their dragon-like features. Their oversized japanese haoris and kimonos hid their dragon tail.

Indeed, the human form still held hints that the two aren't usual humans. They had dragon horns, ears and whiskers and a big tail.

Their hopes began to fade away after seeing what the female children at the valley were like. Unclean, laughing out loud, screaming.
They may be just young children, but the generals needed the best they could find, and this was not one bit close to their goal.

The dragons went back to the forest to transform and fly to another destination."I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up so early." the queen frowned "I thought-"
She was intterupted by sweet humming sounds somewhere around them. As they followed the tunes they were led to a bush as they watched a young girl play by herself in a more open area full of flowers, far away from the valley.
