-Enchanted Haven-

The sunlight peeking through the curtains woke Evanya up, along with the creak in her neck from how she slept on the sofa. She looked at the digital clock on the wall: 9:30 a.m. Her eyes widened, and she frantically searched for her phone. She found it, searched for Wendy's number, and called her.

"Hello?"

"Wendy, I overslept."

"Ha ha! I see that. Do you want me to say that you're ill and will be out today?"

Evanya bit her lip and squeaked, "Please?"

"Alright, I will take messages for all your calls and send them to you through email."

Evanya smiled and said, "Thank you, Wendy. You're the best. Take the day off tomorrow. You deserve it."

"Oh no, I can't do that to you!"

"Wendy, I insist."

"Okay, take care of yourself."

"I will." Evanya hung up and placed the phone on the charger.

She picked up the book and began to read where she left off, "When the magically bonded couple has intercourse for the first time, their magic strength intensifies to its full potential. However, the couple can't use this magic until they have their first child. Oh wow! Ugh, but how can our bond help break this curse?"

The book began to shake, and the pages flipped quickly toward the last twenty pages. She started to read, and her mouth dropped. She placed a hand on her mouth to prevent her from screaming as she read how to use the bond she shares with Jonathan to break the curse.

-Mystic Kingdom Merlin and Raven's Tent-

Raven enjoyed her scrambled eggs and bacon while Merlin puffed away on his pipe. He smiled at her and said, "You're doing well with your magic. So far, you can change your clothes, cook, cure dry eyes, and move objects around. Today, you are going to transport us around."

She choked on her apple juice and said, "Wait, cough, you want me to take us to different places in Mystic Kingdom. Are you crazy? I don't know my way around the entire realm, much less what events I need to see to understand why both curses happened!"

Merlin placed his pipe down, got up, and sat next to Ravena's carbon copy, known as her granddaughter.

"Raven, you must believe in yourself. You have the power within you. Now, finish up with your breakfast, and meet me outside."

She continued her breakfast, and she heard a voice in her head. She focused on it, and the voice became crystal clear. It was a male voice that she recognized just recently.

"Uncle Jonathan?"

"Raven! It worked!"

"How is this possible? How are we speaking to each other?"

"Listen to me; time is running out for me. I need you to find a way to talk to Evanya."

"How? I'm still learning how to use my magic."

"Merlin can help you. You must tell Evanya what I said in the forest clearing the day I proposed to her."

"I don't know what you said. I haven't gotten that far yet."

"You don't have much time! There is no time to waste! The more you use your magic, the more she and I can interact here in Enchanted Haven. She just found the spell needed to break the curse, but she can't do it yet because she needs you to tell her my exact words."
