I immediately jump on him. He ran his fingers in my hair. I was against a wall and the atmosphere just felt suffocating. He stopped.
I took a lot of deep breaths. "Well..." I trailed off.
"I have no idea what to do." He said.
"Well, you can put me down." I said. He rolled his eyes and placed me down.
"I don't know how to react in this situation." He placed a hand in the back of his neck.
"Neither do I." I reply.
Cue awkward silence. I rubbed my hands together nervously.
He swallowed before talking. "I don't think we should mention this. Cause for all I know you could be dating or something."
"I'm not. I agree. It was the heat of a moment." I nod.
"Is it wrong that I think we should talk when we're not... emotionally stable?" He asked.
"I think we should." I said, giving him a curt nod. So I just practically agreed to a friends-with-benefits kind of deal. Great.
He left and I sighed. I just went out with Nathan and I kissed a different guy. I cheated and I don't even feel bad. Well, in my defense, we're not dating.
Ugh! I can't do this. I left and ran. I sighed when I reached my house. I climbed up the frame. I cracked open the window. I rubbed my temples as I sat on my bed.
I fell asleep.
The Next Morning...
I avoid him no matter the situation. "So you went out with him, almost kissed him but didn't, and you ended up kissing Raider?" Lynn, Cassie, and Mackenzie asked. I nodded. They all smacked me upside the head. "What the bloody hell is wrong with you?!" They yelled.
"I don't bloody know!" I respond. I rolled my eyes.
"When we get to the arena, I'm gonna kick your ass." Mackenzie said.
"Go ahead." I replied.
I walked to my third period class and I sat far away from him. I stared at Miss Valentine as she started class.
Maybe 45 Minutes Later...
I rushed out of class but before I could get far someone slammed me against a wall. I look up at Nathan. I sighed. You're lucky I didn't beat the crap out of you.
"What is it?" I asked.
"What's wrong with me?" He asked.
"What? Nothing." I said.
"There has to be something since I'm not perfect for you." He said.
"I promise you. It's not you." I said.
"Then what is it?" He asked.
"Nate. I can't be in a relationship." I said. You would be in danger and I don't want that.
I escaped his barrier. "What are you afraid of?!" He bellowed.
"Hurting you! I don't want you to be hurt because of me!" I yelled.
"I'll let you hurt me then. I know it'll be worth it." He said.
I sighed. "Maybe someday but not now. I need time." I said.
"I'll give it to you then."
Much later, I was in a match with Mackenzie. She flipped me over and I pulled her ankle which made her fall with me. We wrestled a bit until I won.
I helped up. "So what's up now?" She asked. "We agreed to have some time before we do anything." I said. I got in another match.
I circled around Cassie until she aimed at my gut. I kicked the side of her hip and she lost a bit of balance. I slid my foot and she fell. I pinned her down. "Pretty good. But remember. We have the same the teacher." She said.
She flipped me over. "Sorry sis." She slapped. I kicked her off. "She taught me longer." I said. I sat on her and bent her leg. The bell rang. I jumped up and helped her up.
"This is so much work." Cassie groaned.
"Get over yourself." Lynn rolled her eyes.
"Never, twinny." Cassie grinned.
"You guys are weird." I said.
"You love it!" They yelled.
"Jinx!" They yelled. But,Cassie was ahead of her.
"Ha! You owe me a soda!" Cassie said when Lynn groaned.
