"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Raider asked when I was about to leave.
"I'll be fine." I said. I threw him a grin. We haven't really done anything since we made that deal except maybe get closer.
"Careful."
I manage to walk two blocks before hearing something crash behind me. I froze for a split second and turned. I saw a shadow lingering. I narrowed my eyes. I saw another heading towards me upfront and the guy behind me started to come closer.
"Shit." I cursed. I punch the front guy and the back-kicked the guy behind. The front guy grunted but then tries to grabbed me which I respond to kicking him in the gut. The back guy tries to grab me over my shoulder and I flip him over. I placed both of my feet on their guts before pulling their masks off. I recognize them from when I had that fight with Grey.
"Guessing Grey told you two to do his dirty work eh?" I said. You see the idiot brought his entire posse in there like he ruled the world.
They spluttered for words but I of course stop him. "Well listen here, you better tell that stupid rich boy that he better get over the fact that he lost to a girl or there will be over then just a few beatings to his friends."
They nodded. "Also, I guess he himself doesn't have enough guts to get me himself. And if it makes you feel any better that wasn't the first time a guy lost to me."
I sighed. "I'm letting you off with a warning. If Grey tries to kidnap me, I won't hesitate to elimate you." I got off their guts and walk away.
"He's closer to find you." I hear one of them say. I turn around and punch him so hard that he may have a concussion when he wakes up. I turned to the other guy and he raises his hands in surrender. I smirk. I walk away.
The next day, Mackenzie was hiding something's from me. I could tell. "You know, I can tell when you're lying."
"What? No, you don't." Mackenzie waved her hand. I stared at her. If there's anything I know about Mackenzie is that she can't win a staring contest to save her life. Granted, mezmering blue or green eyes distract me and her. She stares back at me. I could tell she wanted to give up. Her blue eyes were pleading. I raise my eyebrows at her. She turned away. I smirk victoriously.
"Ugh, I hate you." She said.
"I love you." I shrugged.
"Okay, I'm breaking girl code and I hate myself for it." She said.
"How are you breaking girl code?" I asked.
"I like Jordan." She blurted.
"Oh."
"And I know you dated him-"
"Kenzie"
"And were all best friends and everything. But--"
"Mac."
"This shit happens and-"
"Kenz."
"I could possibly lose my friendship with him-"
"Mackenz."
"Besides, I don't even know if he likes me back-"
"Mackenzie Allison Middleton!"
"Yeah?"
"Calm down. Its okay. I'm not mad."
"I'm sorry."
"Its okay." Mackenzie signed but then hugged me.
