The Paw Patroller hummed softly as the sun began to dip below the horizon. Inside, the pups were settling down for the night. Ryder knelt down, pulling Viri into a warm hug. 'I love you too, Viri! I'm so happy.'
Marshall, ever the optimist, declared, 'I knew she could talk! I just knew it!'
Rubble, his tail thumping against the floor, added, 'I was waiting for this moment! I knew it would come!'
'Come on, guys, we didn't film this!' Zuma whined, his disappointment evident.
'I did,' Rocky said, holding up his camera with a proud grin.
'Thank you, Rocky,' Ryder said, his eyes twinkling with warmth. 'This is a moment we'll never forget.'
The pups erupted in happy barks and whimpers, their excitement filling the air. Viri, her tail wagging furiously, snuggled closer to Ryder, her big brown eyes shining with a love that could only be expressed in the most beautiful way - with a quiet 'I love you, Ryder.'

He gestured towards a screen erected behind him. 'Rocky, you wouldn't believe what you captured on your camera pup that night!'
Rocky, the recycling pup, shuffled forward.'Well, I wasn't really trying, Ryder. It was just an accident.'
Ryder shook he's head, a playful grin on his face. 'No accident, Rocky. You saved the moment!'
Ryder gave her a warm smile. 'Indeed, Rocky. So, Adventure Bay, are you ready to see what Viri's first words were?'
The crowd roared in anticipation. Images flashed on the screen: the pups settling down for the night, Ryder tucking them in. He turned towards Viri, about to say goodnight, when a tiny, hesitant voice surprised them all.
'I love you, Ryder.'
The screen froze on Viri's face, her eyes sparkling with a newfound confidence. Chase, the police pup, let out a loud.'Did you guys hear that?' Chase barked excitedly.
'Yes, I did,' Ryder replied, a soft smile gracing his lips.
'She said, 'I love you, Ryder!'' Skye chirped, her voice full of awe.
'I love you too,' Ryder said, his voice husky with emotion.
The video ended, leaving the crowd in stunned silence. Then, the silence erupted into thunderous applause. Viri, overwhelmed by the cheering, burrowed her head into Ryder's leg, her tail wagging furiously.
