Sophie was too excited to be mad at the « for once ».

Sophie blushed. She hoped the small girl in the mirror wouldn't remember.

She had a call. She answered.
-Who's there?

-Hey, Sophie.
She blushed even harder. It was him. The guy for who she was preparing. Dex.

-Your camera ain't on.

-Well, you'll have to wait 'till the gala!

She tried to ignore Vertina saying « how cute is love ».

-Met you there, then. I just wanted to check in on you.
-Bye.
She closed the call. She was probably looking like a tomato if we trusted the look Vertina gave her, but she didn't care. If his voice was giving her that much effect, what would it be at the gala!

She remembered what he said yesterday. « It 's useless anyways. We all know who I'm gonna dance with. » (Thanks god, it was her.)

She was ready now. She took her crystal and teleported to the place where the gala was. His house. The triplets weren't here, so the place was in a weird silence. She was the first arrived. She saw a silhouette. A familiar red-haired silhouette.
Her heart almost fell out of her chest. Dex was wearing a blue suit and a small cape. His usually messy hair was arranged and she couldn't stop looking at his abominably cute dimple.

-Hey, Sophie! You're in advance.

-Oh, hey. Hum, yeah, sorry...

-No need to be sorry. That mean we have more time to prepare an evil potion to make this party WAY FUNNIER!

He grabbed her by the wrist (what almost made her heart explode) and lead her to his room. They sat on the bed.

-Wait, is that.. Yes! My mp3! I gave it to you long ago... You still have it?

Dex blushed.

-Yes... But, let's go! What potion do you wanna make?

She was about to do something really awkward. But she could predict she wouldn't regret it.

-What about we go near the lake instead?

-Oh, yeah! Come on, then.

His voice was less excited, but still as happy, which meant the world to Sophie.

They sat on a bench near the lake in the garden.

Then, Dex looked into her eyes, which made Sophie thought she'll panic, but she stayed calm.

-I love you, Sophie.

It wasn't the first time, but it still gave her thrills.

-Me too.

They kissed while the sun was disappearing.

-It's gonna be okay.

-No, I believe it's gonna be great.

Dex smiled before going at the portal to receive the guests. Sophie followed him, over the moon. It was weird to see Biana, who loved Tam, even if the Telepath knew she was there only because of the matchmaking lists - and to support her friend.

-Sophie! Come here!

She followed the Vacker girl into the hall.

-OH MY GAWSH, SOPHIE! YOU LOOK WONDERFUL! Anyways, I wanted to tell you... I AM ON TAM'S LIST!!!
