Snow White's POV
I had been sitting for a few hours trying to think of what to do. I got up and did the washing and just as I turned around to re-enter the house, I saw an old lady coming my way. I walked up to greet her.
"Hello my dear. Would I be able to trouble you for some water please? I have been walking for hours and I am a little tired" the lady asks in a soft voice. If I wasn't standing so close to her I would not have been able to hear her.
I took her into the house so she could sit down. I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water since she must be tired from walking all day.
I take a closer look at her and see that she has a basket with her. "Do you mind my asking what is in that basket that you have with you?"
"Not at all my dear, I made some lovely chocolate chip pancakes that I was going to take to a friend's house but it looks like I will not make it in time. Would you like to have them as a thank you for taking me into your lovely home?"
How could I pass up chocolate chip pancakes? I would not want them to go to waste. "If you would like, I can make you a fresh batch that you can take to your friends place and you can leave those ones here so they do not go off."
The nice old lady hands me the plate of pancakes and I take a bit of one, they taste fantastic. After the first bite I start to feel sleepy. I look up at the lady and she has an evil smile on her face . . . I hear a faint laugh in the background as everything goes dark.
Evil Step-mothers POV
I never thought that she would let me into her house - if that is what you can call it.
I knew that she could never turn down chocolate chip pancakes, and it worked a treat! All she had to do was take one bite and she was gone. Now I can go back to my castle and never have to see the little bitch again.
