It was a cold November morning as Tia shuffled to her first day of 7th grade on Earthrealm. In Maine to be precise. She had to be taught about Earthrealm to blend in. To trust few. Once at school she felt like a total outcast. "Whatever." she mumbled to herself. She saw a boy leaning on a tree with his back eyeing her. "Whats his problem". She went up to confront him
"What the hell are you looking at?".
In response he merely smiled.
"Kazi. Decendent of Hexar.". Tias eyes widened. She held out her hand
"Tia Ember Black. Decendant of the Esperian Elders." Kazi shook her hand lightly.
"Mortals are interesting aren't they." he stated blandly.
"Wait... your..... a jewelborn? Why are you..... I thought it was just me on Earthrealm. Of HEXAR! Wow." Tia exclaimed.
Kazi just looked at Tia intrigued. The bell rang and they were off to class. They were in all the same classes apparently and had lockers neighbouring each other. "Strange coincidence" Tia thought. It probably was just that. Coincidence.
