THIS WAS it. Toby was finally going to confess to Nini about his feelings. (Even though they both already knew they liked each other). Toby had been planning this out in his head all day. Right now he was sitting at his desk, working on his gift for Nini. It was a reel of all their childhood memories in one giant movie clip. Forrest was laying down on Toby's bed, reading one of Toby's many comic books."Do you think she'll like it? I don't really know how she'd feeling seeing us as babies again." Toby turned his chair to look at Forrest. Forrest set the comic book down and sat up.
"I'm sure she'll love it. It's thoughtful and...uh... nostalgic? I don't know dude. All that I care about is that you're finally going to have a girlfriend." Toby chuckled and grabbed a tiny box out of his drawer. "What's that?" Forrest asked.
"This, my friend, is my other gift to Nini. Incase I chicken out of the reel." Toby opened the tiny box and pulled out a necklace with a guitar pick. Forrest raised a brow but then laid down again. Toby couldn't believe he was going to do this. But hey? What better time to confess your love for the girl you've liked for years than opening night?

Toby's nerves were starting to act up. He couldn't just stay at his house until he has to perform. So, he grabbed his jacket, went down the the garage and got on his bike. Once Toby got to East High, he opened the doors and walked into the gym, not knowing that Miss Jenn was already there. When Toby opened the gym door, Miss Jenn jumped and shrieked slightly.
"Sorry!" Toby slowly stepped into the gym. "I come in peace. I didn't mean to startle you." Miss Jenn sighed softly
"Toby! You're really early!" She said, watching as Toby walked in.
"I know. I just.. didn't know what to do with myself all afternoon." He chuckled
"Let me guess, opening night jitters?" She asked, her head tilting.
"Uh...something like that." Toby's lips pressed into a thin line as he rocked back and forth on his heels. "I guess it's just like... overwhelming, you know? I-I mean... this is my first ever musical, so I don't really know what's coming."
"I understand the stress you're under." Miss Jenn said sympathetically. "All I can tell you is what my director told me the night somebody sneezed a blueberry muffin onto the stage during a regional production of South Pacific. Use it."
"Does that always happen?" He asked, his eyebrows raised.
"Besides, if you're the only actor with opening night jitters, we are in excellent shape." Before Toby could get another word out, the gym doors opened again. Toby turned and he saw Nini.
