"How's it like to be standing in the presence of Kris Wu? Is it any different than before, when we met in the forest?" He circled around her, like a shark surrounding his prey. He stepped into the sunlight, where she was able to see his figure more precisely.

He was still the same man, but with a different aura. His hair was slicked back and his suit made him seem more serious and foreboding. His large shoes seemed to approach Jessica closer and closer each time he took a step. Yet his eyes were different; they were the same dark and beautiful brown but something inside had changed. No longer did he look at her with any emotion, his eyes were cold and laughing cruelly. He smirked, and she twinged, thinking of how she had kissed those lips.

"I see the gears running through your head," he said, staring at her pointedly. "Will you be confident enough to say what you're thinking?" He bent down and pored into her eyes. He moved his hand closer to her face, then started to stroke her chin. "My, my, Jessica, I thought you loved me. How could you remain so unchanged?"

She snapped backwards, away from his hand. "I do not remain unchanged," she snarled. "I have changed in ways you cannot understand."

Kris smiled, but something in his eyes had changed. The laughing and cold eyes had disappeared and were replaced with malicious and stormy brown. "So I cannot understand?" he asked quietly. "So will I still not understand if I happened to dissect you, piece by piece? So will I still not understand if I I take apart your mind and study it?"

She had gone quite pale and had started to hyperventilate. "No, no" she muttered, unable to believe the situation in which she was in.

"Yes," Kris smiled broadly, his white teeth flashing. "Now, you're going to come with me; we have a lot of things to discuss, not just with ourselves, but with the government. They'll be excited to see you."
