Husk watched over the casino from his designated area. He preferred not to use Voxtech. Fuck that shit. Plus, this was more old fashioned, he was comfortable with how he was patrolling, not just some useless demons whose souls he owned. A shadow grew behind him, and a cloud of smoke grew just as Alastor appeared, making the cat jump and grumble, standing up to meet the radio demon.
"Well hello again, old friend!" Alastor claimed way too cheerily
"Alastor" Husk greeted with a nod
"I know this is out of the blue, and that you're quite busy, but why not a quick gamble or two, hm?"
"I don't know.. like you said, I'm busy, and me and Angel have a date soon"
"It'll be quick! Why not even have him watch?" He said with a sly grin, his tone.. convincing
"If he's there.. maybe.. alright, fuck it, one quick round couldn't hurt, right?"
"What about a quick game of poker!"
"Alright, I'm in."
The room is dark, and murmurs come from all around. They're at a playing table, and even though Angel is aware of his skill, he can't help but be nervous
"Babe, are ya sure about this?"
"It's just a quick round of poker, doll, we haven't made a deal or nothin'." Husk brushed off without even a side glance
Husk wins the round, get distracted, and then the round after that, and the one after that
"How about we make this more... interesting?" Alastor asked darkly, raising an eyebrow, his grin growing wider
"Oh yeah? And what would the terms be?"
"Let's make a bet.. a deal so to speak.."
"What kind?"
"The loser owes their soul to the winner.. do we have a deal?"
He asked, stretching out his arm, offering his enticing hand to shake
"Husk- wait!" Angel cries, reaching out to stop him.
A chain with a green glow wraps around their arms, sealing the deal
"Deal." Husk says with a confident grin
