BLAIR was 99% sure percy had lost it. he'd spring a mrs. dodds reference to classmates but they all looked at him like he was psycho.
well, maybe not lexi sullivan.

it was exam week and blair had just left the library after a very long and intense study sesh with percy. lately, percy's grades have been blair
slipping and he's been irritable the only time he was calm was when he was with blair.

"hey, lex" "hey! did you hear the news?" "no, what news?" "percy's not returning to yancy next year." upon hearing this the brunette
nearly threw up. first off she was upset about the thought of never seeing percy again and second off she was angry that percy
never told her.

why hadn't he? was he just going to leave without saying goodbye? "really? why?" "so a couple of weeks ago during english, he called mr. nicoll
asked him why he was so lazy or something like that and percy snapped and called him an old sot, whatever that means."

the only reason blair didn't know about this situation was because she was in a different english class. so the only words she could
fathom was "crazy" and walked out of the dorm and straight to percy's and grover's.

it seems percy didn't listen at all to blair because she saw, through the crack of the door, percy throwing his textbook. "perce?" blair called
and he nearly fell out of his seat "god! blair you scared me!" "m'sorry, just wanted to talk." percy must've sensed the urgency in her voice
and allowed her to come in.

"what's up?" "when were you going to tell me you weren't coming back to yancy?" "i- uh i was gonna tell you but i was busy." "we hang out
every single day. you could've told me then." "it just didn't feel right," he said lowly "what do you mean it didn't feel right? i had to
find out from lexi! does grover know?"

"yes," percy whispered "percy what the hell! you should've told me! what you were just gonna leave without saying bye?" "no of course not
i just" he fell silent.

percy hated to admit this but he would miss blair. that was one of the downsides to leaving yancy, saying goodbye to her. "just
what?" "i just didn't want to say goodbye." percy mumbled. blair's expression softened "percy, you know i wouldn't replace you?
you're my best friend i could never leave you."

percy rested his face in the crook of blair's neck, "i'm sorry" he mumbled "it's okay" blair replied resting her chin on his head. they stayed
silent like that for a moment until blair asked "why'd you throw your book?" "i'm just frustrated." "you should ask mr. brunner."

"do you wanna come with me? i don't like being alone." "yeah sure, cmon."

they walked down to the faculty offices, mr. brunner's light was on which was a good sign. they were three steps away from the
office when they heard two voices: mr. brunner and grover.

blair wasn't sure what grover and mr. brunner was talking about but she knew that it concerned percy and that he was in some
sort of danger.

thud!

percy had dropped his textbook mr. brunner's office went silent. swiftly percy grabbed his book and blair's arm and backed
down into the hall. a shadowy figure that was much taller than their wheel-bounding teacher appeared and held something
like a bow and arrow.

percy opened the nearest door and they slid inside. blair hissed "let go, your grip hurts!" "shut up!" a few seconds later they heard
clop clop clop almost like an animal right outside the door but eventually moved on.
