FL: RATHORE MANSION!

{𝑭𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑯𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲}

Parul looked out of the window, eyes fixed on the distant mansion. "Let's go there and see," she said, turning back to face Gunisha. "Will you come with me?"

Gunisha, trembling, replied, "No, I will not go there. It will be dangerous!"

Parul grabbed Gunisha's hand and pulled her out of the room. "There is no danger there! If there is, we'll come back," she insisted, her determination unwavering.

As they walked, Gunisha asked, "Did you tell your mom about this?"

Parul stopped abruptly, putting a finger to her lips. "Shhh! This is a secret, just between us."

Gunisha, looking into Parul's grey eyes, said, "You should have told your mom, Parul. It's wrong to hide things from your parents."

Parul resumed walking. "Would she believe me? Like you didn't. I really saw someone in that mansion."

Gunisha frowned. "You said it's been closed for years, and now you claim you saw someone there? Are you mad?"

Ignoring Gunisha's skepticism, Parul gripped her hand tighter. "I really saw someone. If you don't believe me, come and see for yourself."

Descending the stairs, they encountered Sudha Agarwal Roy, Parul's mother, who was elegantly dressed in a lavender pink saree.

"Where are you both going in such a hurry?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice.

Parul, masking her fear, replied, "We were bored in the room and thought of taking a walk outside."

Sudha smiled slightly. "Be sure to come home before evening."

As Sudha walked away, Parul exhaled in relief. "We're saved. If Mumma knew, she wouldn't have let us go."

Gunisha, still uneasy, asked, "Is it really okay for us to go there?"

Parul didn't answer, leading Gunisha out of the gate towards Rathore Mansion.

The weather had turned ominous, with strong winds howling. Gunisha stared at the mansion with wide eyes, while Parul's face remained expressionless, as if she had known the place all her life. Parul approached the old, locked iron gate.

The lock, ancient and rusted, broke and fell as she touched it. Both girls gasped in shock. Gunisha, stepping back, whispered, "Parul, I don't feel right about this. Let's go back. This mansion is scary!"
