Parul had two cups of coffee, some toasted bread, and vegetables on a tray. There was a lot more for breakfast. She came and served the food from the tray onto the table in front of Rajveer. Rajveer had been watching Parul for a while; she had her head covered with a scarf. Finally, Parul's eyes met Rajveer's, but she immediately looked away and sat with her plate, leaving two chairs between them. It was quiet, with only the sound of Parul's gaze and the clinking of plates breaking the silence.

Then, Rajveer, sipping his coffee, looks at Parul and says, "How long have you been living here, Parul?"

Parul stops eating and, without looking at Rajveer, responds flatly, "What does it matter to you?"

Rajveer takes a deep breath, sets his cup down, and says, "Can't you ever just give a straight answer? I'm asking you a simple question!"

After listening to Rajveer, Parul remains silent. She wipes her lips with a tissue, stands up with the tray, and walks over to Rajveer. Leaning in slightly and looking him in with the stern eyes, she says angrily, "I have no interest in answering your questions. You'd be better off going back to where you came from and leaving me alone."

With that, she plops his coffee cup back onto the tray. Rajveer, who hadn't even finished his breakfast, watches in surprise as Parul turns on her heel and starts to leave. He can't help but chuckle at the her drama of the moment, shaking his head in disbelief.

Rajveer gets up from his seat and follows Parul into the kitchen. As she puts the dishes in the sink and wipes her hands with a towel, she turns around only to find Rajveer standing very close to her. Startled, Parul's eyes widen. Rajveer places his hands on either side of the shelf, trapping her in, and says in a cold voice, "Answer my question. If you're scared because of Karan, don't be. He can't do anything to you now. While I'm here, just answer what I asked. I need to know things only you can tell me."

Parul, her hands gripping the edge of the shelf, looks up at Rajveer with a racing heart. This was a side of him she had never seen before. Her voice trembles, she asks, "Why are you here? What do you want from me?"

Rajveer looks into Parul's grey eyes and says, "I want to take you away from here. But your small mind is not able to understand this.

Parul's breath catches as she stares up at Rajveer, her confusion and fear mingling. "Take me away? W-Why? You know he won't let me go anywhere." she whispers, her voice barely audible.

Rajveer's expression softens slightly, though his resolve remains firm. I know, but I've come here to take you back. To take you away from Karan and this mansion.". You deserve a chance to be free, to live without fear," he says, raising his eyebrows slightly for emphasis. "And I'm going to make sure you get that chance."

Parul shakes her head, her mind racing. "But why do you care? What difference does it make to you?"

Rajveer arches an eyebrow, stepping back slightly to give her some space while still holding her gaze. "You ask too many questions, and I'm not interested in answering them".

Parul looks at Rajveer with wide eyes. Rajveer gives a slight, crooked smile and speaks to himself. "Because I care about you, Parul. More than you know. And I can't stand by and watch you suffer any longer."
