"Crissyyy wakee upp!!! Please Crissy helloo!!"

Crissy's eyes fluttered open, her breathing heavy and labored. She was lying on the floor, her body shaking with fear. Harrison's face came into focus, his eyes filled with concern.

"Crissy, wake up! Oh my god, I was so worried about you!" Harrison exclaimed, his voice shaking.

Crissy's mind raced as she tried to sit up, her body feeling heavy and weak. Harrison helped her up, his arms wrapping around her in a tight hug.

"What happened?" Crissy asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I don't know," Harrison replied, his eyes scanning her face. "I heard you screaming and came running. You were lying on the floor, unconscious. And then I saw that book in the cupboard..."

Crissy's eyes widened as she remembered the events leading up to her fainting spell. "The book... it was calling to me," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Harrison's expression turned skeptical. "What do you mean?"

Crissy took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. "I mean, I heard a voice. It was laughing and calling my name. And then I saw it... the book. It was like it was alive or something."

Harrison's eyes narrowed. "That's impossible. Books can't come to life."

But Crissy knew what she saw. And she knew what she felt. "It was real, Harrison. I'm telling you, it was real."

Harrison's expression softened, his eyes filled with concern. "Okay, Crissy. I believe you. But we need to get out of here. You need some fresh air."

Crissy nodded, her body still shaking with fear. Harrison helped her up, and they made their way to the garden, sitting down on a bench.

The fresh air and sunlight seemed to calm Crissy's nerves, but her mind was still racing with thoughts of the book. What was it? And why was it haunting her?

As they sat there, Martin walked by, a smile on his face. "Hey, kids. What's going on?"

Harrison hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "Just a little scare, Mr. Martin. Crissy fainted in her room."

Martin's expression turned concerned. "Oh, dear. Well, maybe you should get some rest, Crissy. You look a bit pale."

Crissy nodded, her eyes still fixed on Harrison. She knew that she couldn't tell Martin about the book. He wouldn't believe her.

As Martin walked away, Harrison turned to her, his eyes filled with determination. "We'll figure this out, Crissy. I promise. We'll get to the bottom of this book and its strange powers."

Crissy nodded, her heart filled with gratitude. She knew that she couldn't face this alone. And with Harrison by her side, she felt a sense of hope that she hadn't felt in weeks. Maybe, just maybe, they could overcome this together.

Harrison sat beside Crissy on the bench, watching her chest rise and fall with each gentle breath. She had fallen asleep, her body finally surrendering to the exhaustion that had been building up.

As he gazed at her peaceful face, Harrison's heart swelled with emotions. He had always felt a connection with Crissy, but in this moment, he realized that his feelings went far beyond friendship.

He gently lifted her into his arms, cradling her like a child, and carried her back to her room. As he laid her on the bed, her hair fell back, revealing her elegant neck. Harrison's fingers twitched with the urge to touch her skin, to feel the softness of her hair.

He sat beside her, his eyes drinking in her beauty. "You look gorgeous, Crissy," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "The moment I saw you, you stole my heart."
