Chapter 4-Fontaine Arc: How they become..

Later at night, they walk all the way back home while others are walking. Heizou is 'flying' with the help of his old friends. "How long do we have to fly him all the way to Liyue?" Yoimiya asked while carrying Heizou with her vampire power. Her friends shrug in confusion. They realized they needed to protect each other since they lived in the same house when they were children. It took around 4 hours to get to Liyue Harbor. The hunters already told Crucabena that they need the bodies for the director of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. They went to their rented house and got some rest. The next day, Ayaka woke up as she got ready to work as a Huntress as she went to her bedroom. She noticed someone on her bed, which is Kazuha on her bed and that's not all...THERE'S A VAMPIRE ON THEIR RENTED HOUSE!!!!! Kazuha awkwardly gets up from her bed "Good-" Ayaka closes the door before he could finish his sentence. Ayaka puts her weapons in her pockets and goes to the living room out her frustration "WHO PUT A FORKING VAMPIRE IN OUR HOUSE?!" Ayaka yelled. "Ayaka?!" Heizou asked while Lumine stopped cutting the veggies. "Did you do it?!" She asked Aether "No, I didn't bring them in! I-"Aether said, right before he could finish the sentence.

"I brought them in." Furina said. Furina cat walked with Yoimiya and Tomo behind her back "Alright you may go now." She said, The 2 Vampires nods and goes to the couch to sit there "Gooood Morning my dear clients~. How was your sleep going? You must be grumpy and angry as usual, Yashiro commissioner.." Furina said with a sarcastic voice "This isn't funny! Why would you bring a Vampire in?!" Ayaka asked. Furina laughs and gets to explain "Last night, while you guys are asleep. I was woken up by their noise. As soon as I saw them..I felt suspicious at first. After I asked a few questions they didn't pose a threat to us. Then my manager found us and stated that they need to get experience of their blood by the next morning. I assigned them to their rooms but for Kazuha..We asked him to go quietly on your room since there's no more space.." Furina chuckles after explaining the whole thing.

She immediately went upstairs and grabbed all of her weapons from her room, she then went downstairs and opened the door. "We're moving out..I mean we can't let a vampire invade our house and bite us. Do you really want to get infected?" Ayaka asked. "No! We don't need to move out! Like assistant Furina said, they don't pose a threat to us!" Lumine said. A threat? What kind of threat? Did she want to move out of the house even if they didn't hurt them? The words Lumine said were true...Probably she doesn't trust them just yet..But why? Ayaka perhaps can find the answer later.."Alright..I'll stay here. But I saw him in my room again..I won't like it.." Ayaka said with her suspicious face possibly she is watching everyone..Including the vampires to which she doesn't trust. Yoimiya is always wondering why Ayaka always felt grumpy? Her curiosity always made her question. "Did we do something wro-" Before Yoimiya can finish her sentence Hu Tao opens the door "Kaedehara~ It's your turn now."

Kazuha walked to Hu Tao as he was ready to experiment. Following Yoimiya's perspective she then asked to Tomo "Did we do something..Wrong?" Tomo immediately shakes his head meaning they didn't do anything wrong. "She looks so angry..Is she always looking at us that way?" Lumine awkwardly blinks and gently pat Yoimiya. Following Kazuha's perspective, Hu Tao takes him to the basement of the Wangsheng funeral. She opens the door as they enter the basement. Kazuha saw some strange things. Hu had "Uhm..Hu what is this?" Kazuha asked. Hu Tao chuckles, telling Kazuha that it's personal and he doesn't need to know about it. He sat down, Hu tao was preparing to experiment with him "Oh?.."

A paper cut...

"I should cover this wound up before experimenting with him.." Hu said with her concerned tone. She quickly covers the wound up with bandages. Hu Tao puts a helmet on Kazuha. "Are you ready?" Hu tao asked. Kazuha nods as Hu Tao flips the switch as Kazuha falls asleep with Hu Tao experimenting on him. Meanwhile Yoimiya and Tomo read about cats "Cats are more playful and need more attention from the owner." "They need more love and care..than dogs.." Lumine and Aether saw them reading together..While Ayaka is still suspicious of them. Yoimiya and Tomo read more about cats as they are curious to read the facts as Furina decided to go to Hu Tao in order to help her. She went to the basement and saw Hu tao take meds to cover her wound. She gave Kazuha a pill. "Take this pill, it helps you to relax." She said, was it for relaxing? He swallowed the whole pill and immediately fell unconscious. Hu Tao and Furina started to experiment on him by putting a helmet on as both are curious of how he turned into a vampire so suddenly.

The flashback starts when Kazuha is doing his work as he is visibly upset. "You seem upset, my friend. Perhaps you need a break from work." He said. Kazuha sits down and tells him that the gala of humans and vampires was tonight but Kuni was an exception due to his strange behavior as. His friend named Kunikuzushi also known as Scaramouche asks if he can come, Kazuha answers that he will ask Crucabena if Kuni could come. He agrees with Kazuha and asks "My friend..Do you need any companions..? To ask, Madam..?" He asked with sarcasm and made a puppy face "Don't do that..Kuni.." Kazuha said. He chuckled as he demanded Kazuha to let him attend the Gala. He nodded as he walked away, he knew that his 'friend' was acting strange.

He opened the door and saw many orphans were preparing the gala. One of the researchers scolded one of the orphans that were experimented on for not doing the job properly, Kazuha was shocked and saw Clervie talking to Yoimiya "Oh god..The Gala is so soon and thus many researchers are coming. I don't even talk to them cause..You know-" Clervie said before she could finish her sentence as Yoimiya said "I know..But we can't let other researchers know about this..So now.." Yoimiya said

"Cheers!" Both Clervie and Yoimiya said as they drank carrot juice.

Kazuha waves to both Clervie and Yoimiya, Clervie pats his head and asks what he needs. Kazuha answered that Kuni wanted to attend the gala. Once Clervie and Yoimiya heard this answer..They told him that there's something wrong with him "Listen Kazuha..You know we would like to invite him..But there's something wrong with him after we brought him into the house.." Yoimiya said. "Yeah! Even Mother and others noticed it too. So we lock him in a room where no one can enter..But no matter what we try he always escapes from the room we kept him..And today..Mother told me that he was a pure-blood vampire..!" Clervie whispered. Kazuha was confused and suddenly a researcher caught them "Clervie..Do you talk with those orphans again? I would never see you talk to them again!" She said, "Sorry..They are my friends.." Clervie said with her sad tone "We as orphans can no longer be abandoned by 'families'.." Kuni said as he appeared out of nowhere. The researcher went mad as to where he got the words from, Kazuha told the researchers that he told him to do that.

However as a result Kazuha was kicked out of the house while Yoimiya, Kuni and Clervie were chained up in a bedroom. Kazuha knocks on the house and no one answers..Meanwhile in the bedroom..Clervie was mad at Kuni for not letting her and Yoimiya attend the gala "I have backups don't worry my friends.." He said while playing with Clervie's toy robot. Clervie was devastated that she and Yoimiya weren't able to attend the gala as she suddenly saw Kuni in his full vampire form "You don't have to listen to the researchers anymore Clervie. You won't have to abandon the orphans too! You don't need to go to the gala my friends..~" Kuni said as the lights went off. Clervie and Yoimiya immediately know that Kuni is going to massacre the gala. Kazuha opens the door all by himself as no one answers till he hears an echo "Ayaka!!! It's not finished yet!" A female voice shouted.

At the present Furina and Hu Tao were 'experiencing' Kazuha as they told her "Important observing going on!" Furina yelled. "Ugh alright, I just-" Ayaka said as her sentence got cut by Hu Tao "I'll tell you when we finish it, Yashiro Commissioner~" Hu Tao said as she closed the door. Continuing in the past Kazuha was exploring as he opened the basement as he saw of himself, Yoimiya and lastly Tomo were both bitten by the vampires "Woah..So future me is dead. But I came back to be alive cause..Of.." Kazuha said. He was traumatized..Damn..He was alive again..But how was he alive? He kept exploring the basement. He was about to go out of the basement as Kuni grabbed "Hello, my friend! I'm feeling much better than before. Let's be friends forever~" He said. Kuni put him on a seat as he immediately bite his blood causing him to faint "Kuni...I thought we are...Friends..." Kazuha one last time before he fainted. Few hours later his friends woke him up "Kazuha!" Yoimiya and Tomo said. His friends hug him as they were worried about him, he realized it was just a memory the first time he became a vampire "Hey! Get me out of here!" He shouted.

At the present, Kazuha was shocked after seeing his memories coming back to him as both Furina and Hu Tao mecanily laughed with their madness. Their laughter causes Kazuha to use his power as he threatens them to not talk about his backstory as a result Furina and Hu Tao were shocked and promised him. Furina and Hu Tao open the door for Kazuha as he should tell the truth to his friends, both of them nod at him, he walks to his friends. "Well I know who turns us into vampires.." Kazuha told as he was still traumatized. The hunters ask who they were, Kazuha answered..With a sadistic voice that he and his friends suffered and hurt in the past by the scientists "It's my 'friend' Kuni. Kunikuzushi.." He answered. Yoimiya and Tomo both are shocked as their memories return..

Suddenly a hunter returns from his expedition from Mondstadt and tells Hu Tao that the pure blooded vampire was already in Mondstadt. Ayaka knew their next answer was going to Mondstadt as she told her team to get ready to go to Mondstadt. The young hunter holds Ayaka's hand "Stay safe alright? Kuni has shapeshifted into someone. Stop him before he takes over the world.." He said. Ayaka nods knowing her next journey was Mondstadt.

In the city of Mondstandt a young dealer walked to 'Diluc' cutting off as a cliffhanger.
