Enzo's pov:After a long week, I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Reece and I were hanging out at his place, playing video games and just chilling.
The front door opened, and Evelyn and Sienna walked in, laughing and talking animatedly.
"Hey, why are you so happy?" Reece called out, pausing the game.
Evelyn grinned. "Mom said we can go to jake's big party tonight."
I glanced at Reece, raising an eyebrow. "Party, huh? Sounds fun."
I smirked and added, "Well, looks like we're crashing that party too."
Evelyn looked a bit surprised but didn't argue. "Okay, but just don't embarrass us."
Reece laughed. "No promises."
As the girls headed upstairs to get ready, Reece and I started planning our own preparations. It wasn't long before we were all set to go.
At the party, the place was packed. Music blared from the speakers, and people were dancing, drinking, and having a good time.
I spotted Evelyn and Sienna near the drinks table, laughing with some friends.
"Hey, you made it!" Jake greeted us, handing us drinks.
"Wouldn't miss it," Reece replied, clinking his cup with Jake's.
As the night went on, I kept an eye on Evelyn. She seemed to be having a great time, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
I noticed she was drinking more than usual, her laughter becoming more carefree and her movements more relaxed.
I saw Lana across the room and waved her over.
She smiled and made her way to me, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Hey, you," she said, kissing my cheek.
"Hey, beautiful," I replied, kissing her back on the lips. "Having fun?"
"Yeah, it's a great party," she said, looking around. "How about you?"
"Good, just keeping an eye on everyone," I said, glancing over at Evelyn again.
As the night went on, the atmosphere got wilder.
People were dancing, some were getting pretty drunk, and the energy was electric.
At one point, I noticed Evelyn stumbling a bit, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol.
I made my way over to her, concerned. "Hey, Evie, you okay?"
She looked up at me, her eyes slightly glazed. "Enzo, I'm fine," she slurred, giggling. "Just having fun."
I frowned, not entirely convinced. "Maybe you should take it easy."
Before I could say more, she grabbed my arm and pulled me outside, away from the noise.
We ended up near the pool, the cool night air hitting us.
"Enzo," she said, her voice suddenly serious. "I need to tell you something."
I looked at her, my heart pounding. "What is it, Evie?"
Before I could react, she leaned in and kissed me.
It took me a second to process what was happening, but then I found myself kissing her back.
Her lips were soft, and for a moment, everything else faded away.
Just then, I heard a gasp. I pulled back to see Lana standing there, her eyes wide with shock and hurt.
"Enzo?" I could hear that she was trying to keep her voice steady.
