Chapter 14: Miss Bombastic (short)

Three weeks have passed since Bee's party in the Gluttony Ring. Obe and Velvette are currently walking down a street in the Pride Ring. Many sinners and demons avoiding them as they pass.

Obe: I've noticed you've been leaving the house at night more often, anything you wanna tell me?

Velvette: That obvious? *Obe nods* I've... I've been hanging out with two other sinners.

Obe: Who?

Velvette: One being Carmilla, you met her.

Obe: Ah yes, the little meeting before my fight with the Son.

Velvette: I've been talking with her whenever I need advice or just needed someone to talk to in private.

Obe: Understandable, who's the other sinner you've been talking to?

Velvette: Her name is Cherri Bomb.

Obe: I assume she's called that for a reason.

Velvette: Yeah, she loves her explosives. I hang out with her whenever I need to blow off some steam, she's awesome. I'd like you to meet her.

Obe: I'm sure we'd get along just fine.

Velvette: *chuckles* With how destructive you are, I have no doubt. *gets a text, eyes widen in horror* WHAT!?

Obe: *concerned* What's wrong?

Velvette: One of Cherri's friends just texted me, that bastard Valentino kidnapped her and is forcing her to work at one of his strip clubs!

Obe: *takes sword out and puts helmet on* You have your guns?

Velvette: *pulls out a blessed assault rifle* Let's fucking do this.

At a strip club, Cherri is being forced to dance. As one sinner was about to take her to a private room, the wall explodes, revealing a very pissed Velvette and Obe.

Pimp Demon: *looks at his guards* DON'T JUST STAND THERE YOU IDIOTS!! KILL THEM!!

The demons quickly try to shoot Obe and Velvette, but Obe uses the Force to stop all of the bullets, shocking all but Velvette.

Obe: *eyes glowing yellow* My turn.

Obe uses the Force to launch the bullets right back at the demon guards, killing them all quickly. The pimp demon then holds Cherri at gun point.

Pimp Demon: Here's what's gonna happen, I'm leaving with Cherri. You follow I'll blow her brains out.

Obe: You honestly think things will turn out that way?

Pimp Demon: Why wouldn't they? I got it figured out.

Obe: Do you?

The pimp demon looks confused until he feels a sharp pain at his groin, as he lets go of Cherri, he sees Velvette shot him in the nuts. Obe grabs the pimp demon by the neck.

Obe: Why did Valentino make you kidnap Cherri? And don't think of lying, I'll know if you are.

Pimp Demon: *scared* H- he and Vox wanted leverage on Velvette, they wanted to force her to come back and work with them.

Obe: Is that all?

Pimp Demon: That's all I know I swear!!

Obe: *eyes give a red glow* What did I tell you about lying?

Before the pimp demon can react, Obe begins probing his mind to find out everything. Obe drops the pimp demon after a few seconds.

Velvette: *giving Cherri some clothes* Anything?

Obe: He overheard another conversation between them, they would've gone as far as forcing you to make a deal with them in order to free Cherri.

Velvette: *angry* THOSE FUCKING-

Obe: Calm down Velvette, that's not gonna do anything.

Velvette: But-

Obe: I'm mad as well, but we need to be level headed.

Velvette: Right, *looks at Cherri* by the way Cherri, this is my boyfriend Obe.

Cherri: *eye widen* WHAT!? I- Wha-!?

Obe: *bows head* Very nice to meet you Miss Cherri Bomb.

Cherri: *blushes* J- just Cherri is fine. It's nice to meet you.

Velvette: What are you gonna do now that you're free Cherri?

Cherri: Go home, get my explosives and blow up Vee tower.

Obe: Good plan, but it won't work.

Cherri: How?

Obe: I think Valentino and Vox know what's happened by now, you won't be safe from them. They're cowards, but they have resources. The next time they capture you, they'll make sure you won't escape a second time.

Cherri: *looks down* B- but where do I go now?

Velvette: *hugs Cherri* You can live with us.

Cherri: *surprised* W- would that be ok?

Obe: *smiles under helmet* I wouldn't mind that at all. My home can magically add more room accustomed to your likings. You'll be safe there.

Velvette: Yeah, and you can meet the others as well.

Cherri: Others?

Velvette: All the other girls Obe is dating.

Cherri: *eye widens* How many is he dating?

Velvette: Including me, five. You won't believe how much of a sweetheart Obe is.

Obe: *blushes under helmet* Alright that's enough.

Velvette and Cherri giggle as Obe opens a portal to his home.

At Vee Tower  

Valentino is destroying some furniture as Vox growls in anger.

Valentino: THAT FUCKER!! HE TOOK AWAY OUR ONLY TICKET TO GETTING VELVETTE BACK!!

Vox: Not only that, he basically made that bitch untouchable. 

Valentino: The fuck do we do now?

Vox: *sighs* I wanted to avoid this, but Velvette has been hanging out with another sinner.

Valentino: Who?

Vox: Carmilla.

Valentino: How the fuck are we gonna get her? Not complaining, she is hot as fuck, but how?

Vox: *smirks* Oh, I have a few ideas of how we can get to her.

The two laugh as the screen fades to black.
