Lobola Day

"Babe!" Haileys said over the phone. She was in the girls hut wearing her lobola dress and she secretly wanted to talk  to micah. Eversince the dinner they haven't had anytime together, barely seeing each other and causing Sanele to be extra moody because he couldnt see micah.
"Yes what's up?" He said answering the phone.
"Are you still coming you dont even look dressed." She saud and he kept quiet.
"Micah?" She asked un a shaky voice tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
"Baby im coming." He said and cut the call. She started bailing her eyes out and Sipho and Shaila came in the room.

"Whats wrong?" They asked.
"Nothing. Dont worry." She said wiping her tears.
"Uhm well you wont be happy if we tell you whats going on in the kitchen." Sipho whispered fearing hailey's reaction.

"Whats going on!?" She asked and quickly fled the hut hearing the noise.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP ISFEBE, YOU TOOK MY FUCKING MAN AWAY FROM ME!" Amphiwe shouted also indicating that the Malahngus had arrived.
"Shut up, he wanted me first!" Harmony said and threw a wooden sppon at her.
"John is mine! Shut up all of you, he married me." Elizabeth said intervening the 2 girls.
"Oh shut up with your rusty ole pussy." Harmony said
"Yoh." The ladies said in the kitchen.

"Everyone please lets-"
"SHUT UP MINNE. AND FUCK OFF." Amphiwe shouted and harmony went and slapped her. This triggered Amphiwe and she started slapping Harmony back and it turned into a brawl.
"AHHHHHHH!" hailey screamed and everyone looked at her. Her scream was so loud it caused the men who were outside to come and invade the kitchen.
"Oh fuck." John muttered seeing the mess between his sidechicks.
"Whats going on here?" Lubanzi asked and the 2 women started shouting at each other again.

"AHHHHHHHHHH." Haileh screamed again and she ran off back to her hut. She was embrassed by her family and was angry at how they ruined her special day.
"Heee i will deduct some money from the negotiations this is unacceptable." Lubanzi said causing haileys dad to look at him.
"Uthini? You will do no such." The dad said and the men started arguing.
"Yey! Everyone shut up and go back to what you are suppose to be doing." Micah said rather calmly.
"You're not even-"

"Yey! Fuck off. Infact no one and i mean no one should be stressing my wife like that." He said, his aura radiating. He was calm but angry.
"Dont make me repeat myself whether you're my elder or not i will fuck you up. If i see my wife even more upset trust me im dealing with all of you. Now fuck off, respectfully." Micah said and went outside as he wasnt allowed in the negotiation room.

"You guys have to pay for damages." Haileys uncle said and lubanzi looked at him.
"For what? Your daughter hit my baby mama." Lubanzi said. The Mahlangu family wasnt very traditional as this was the first wedding in the family.
"Heyi! Don't forget your son made my daughter pregnant." Haileys dad reminded and Andile rolled his eyes and counted his money and gave them R50000.
"Okay, bring out the women." The uncle said and the 3 girls walked in, with hailey being in the middle.

"Mhmm, who is she?" Lubanzi asked to himself.
"In the middle." The dad said
"How are you so sure?" Andile asked.
"She has a mole of her right ankle and a scar from her left ankle." The dad said causing the men to all look at him like he was the devil.
"How do you know my daugther so well?" The dad asked and john was mebrassed now.
"Hey let's continue, she us our bride isn't she?" Lubanzi said dismissing the topic.

"Yes she is." They said and hailey removed her balnket and faced the men.
"Hailey do you know these man?" The uncle asked and she blushed.
"Yebo baba." She said and they ladies began to ululate.

"You cant be saying such things baby!" She said and lightly pushed him.

"I love you." He said and received his food.
"I love you more." She said and blushed.
"Come lets eat." He said and she shook her head.
"Why?" He asked.
"The ladies want me bac-"
"Fuck them, and come let me your husband feed you." He said and she sat on his lap and they began to feed each other.

"HAILEY! COME BACK HERE." One of her stricts aunt said.
"Fuck babe, they caught me." She saud and stopped eating.
"Relax." He sajd and rubbed her waist as she was now tense..
"Aunty." She said and snuggled closer to micah.

"What are you doing?" The aunt asked.
"Im with my husband, hawu." She said
"Ehhhh, you cant call me an isfebe, im married." She said and showed her ring to her.

"You're a disrespectful child!" She said and Hailey frowned
"Aunt thank you for your services, but we must go and make children, thank you for the food." Micah said and gave her aunt the plate and tapped haileys thigh and grabbed her hand as they ran away from the aunt screaming

"Remember when you used to be mean to me?" She said as they held hands and were talking a walk in haileys village.
"Yeah, i hated how much i liked you." He said.
"Why did you hate it?" She asked.
"You were just too perfect for me, i literally brought guns to school and sometimes would get shot after school. My life was hectic from a young age and i was lowkey afraid that if you knew you would leave me. Thats why i started being mean to you the last days because i wanted our seperation to not affect me as much. I know it was selfish but it had to be done. It was better for you to hate me than for me to disappoint you because i was moving from country to country trying to keep myself, my legacy and you safe. I wanted to stalk your life but then i just didn't want to miss you too much or get angry about you sucking a mans dick or something." He spoke.

"Wow babe that was uncessary." She said and laughed at his last statement.
"Anyways i wanted to tell you that i am pregnant." She said and lifted up her shirt and showed him the bump.
He went mute.
