Kim Hanbin had never in his life encountered someone like Lisa whose eyes alone could cause uncontrollable fear. His eyes resembled a savage beast ready to tear the poor man in half. Even so, Kim Hanbin did not back down. He tried to match the same level of intensity in Lisa's eyes.

Jennie did not have time for this stupid banter. She could see the stormy background of a lion against a dragon, a swarm of fire behind Kim Hanbin and a thunderstorm behind Lisa.

"Ladies, ladies, you're both beautiful. Now can we get to a civilized discussion?" She scoffed, pushing Kim Hanbin aside and breaking their intense stare down.

Kang Seulgi admired how fearless she was, but could not get past how stupid she was. Her actions and words resembled a drunk soldier running into the battlefield without his armor and weapons. What could she possibly do here?

Jennie tried to sound and appear confident, even when her knees wobbled from the look Lisa was giving her. She wondered if it was because she was scared of him or if she was scared of what he might do to her.

"Let me guess, some compromising pictures landed on your desk right after my meal with Kim Hanbin?" Jennie was not stupid. She had used the same tactic in the past where she hired people to take pictures of Krystal with her childhood friend then photoshopped them into promiscuous positions.

"Well, whatever you saw, was not real." She placed her hand on her hips, then changed her mind. "Actually, it might be half the truth, but like I said, it's only 50% of it and not the entire ordeal."

Jennie stuck out her hand, palms open. "Let me see the pictures."

Lisa did not move or entertain her idea.

She wiggled her fingers, "Come on now. Don't be stubborn."

Lisa glared at her. Even at a time like this, she was not careful when treading over thin ice. She was stomping on it, waiting for it to crack and break beneath her feet.

Seeing as he was unresponsive, Jennie opened her mouth and sniped, "Stop dragging out this stupid fight. I can explain every picture and if you want proof, go check the security cameras at the restaurant."

Lisa could feel his heart stir at her words. She was confident that she did not do anything wrong.

Right on cue, a ringtone interrupted the atmosphere. Jennie recognized that it was her phone. She fished it out of her purse and picked it up.

"Good afternoon Ma'am, this is First Hospital. May I ask if I am speaking to Jennie?"

"Yes, you are."

"I have wonderful news, ma'am. The patient has woken up and is ready for visitors."

Jennie did not need to hear anything else. Her Somi was awake! She clapped her hands, her face brightening. "Thank you, I will head there right now!" She hung up the phone and took one step forward when Lisa stood up. His long legs made him take his sweet time carrying himself to her. He towered over her; his hands tucked into his front pockets.

"And where do you think you're going?"

"Oh, now you want to talk to me?" She flipped her hair over her shoulders and shoved past him. She tried to walk down the hallways, but her path was blocked by the same group of burly men who prevented her escape from the hospital.

"Listen here, buds. I don't have an IV pole with me this time, but I do have this fine and dandy—"

"Stop threatening my men." Lisa muttered, walking up to her and forcefully taking off her blazer.

"What are you doing?"

He tossed it to Kang Seulgi who threw it in the trash can before pulling out a hand sanitizer.

She was confused by his behavior. He then took her wrist, grabbed the hand sanitizer and placed some on her wrist before vigorously wiping. Was he cleaning everything that Kim Hanbin touched? He made it seem like the man was dirty.

"I'll help you wash your hair tonight." Lisa threw the materials back to Kang Seulgi before wrapping an arm around her upper arm.

Jennie felt like her time was wasted by the brute. Seriously, she could not believe him. Heaving a tired sigh, she said, "You're so dramatic."

She shrugged his arm off and walked down the hallway, leaving everyone behind.

Kim Hanbin stood in his spot, dumbfounded that she did not reject Lisa's behavior and actions. His fingers became fists. The light in his eyes was instantly replaced with a desire to conquer. It seemed he had underestimated her love for Lisa. He thought the man was a mere rebound, but his predictions were proven wrong.

A woman was dragged into the black room by her long, black hair. She was screaming and kicking, her shrill shrieks mimicked a chicken being slaughtered. "What are you doing?! Are you crazy? Let go of me! Do you know who I am?!"

Haruto leisurely tossed the woman onto the floor. "No, you fugly hoe, I don't."

Jackson sat in his wooden chair while examining the blade in his hand. He rhythmically tapped his finger on the pointy edge of the knife and raised his head to look at the woman. She was a B-list model, the same one that bothered Jennie on the red carpet of the Jeon banquet.

He remembered her. She had deliberately tried to sabotage Somi a while back in regards to a contract for the ambassador title of a perfume company. Somi had already released her wrath upon this woman, but it seemed like she was not thoroughly burned — Jackson ensured that she would today.

He stood up and stalked to the woman.

Lu Nuoshui felt her heart skyrocket at the sight of Jackson. Even in this horrific scenario and the blood on his hands, she could not prevent herself from ogling the handsome man. When he bent down to examine her, she wished she did not swoon. He was the man of every woman's dream, coming second to his older brother.

Jackson revealed a panty-dropping smile that hid the murderous intent in his eyes. He pressed the blade close to her face, her main selling point.

He leaned closer and utilized the effect he had on her. In a low and seductive voice, he said, "Let me ask you a question, Lu Nuoshui."

Lu Nuoshui was so fascinated by his beauty; she did not realize that death was knocking on her door. This room was terrifying, with the different array of weapons on the wall, the blood on the floor, and the groaning man in the corner. Yet, she sat on the grimy floor, her eyes fixed on the mouthwatering man in front of her.

With his intoxicating cologne and masculine smell, her brain was becoming clouded. "A-ask me anything and I'll answer truthfully." She breathlessly said. The first three buttons of his shirt were let loose to reveal his rippling chest. Just a little bit more, she would be able to feel the flesh.

"Really now?" Jackson laughed, amused at her behavior. She was in a life and death situation, yet here she was, spreading her legs as she always did so.

"Of course. If it pleases you, I will do it." She shyly said with a smile, while tucking a lock of hair behind her right ear in hopes of coming off as a youthful and innocent woman.

"Then, riddle me this, why did you seduce Mu Ting?" He tilted his head, "Why did you want to hurt my little sister?"

Lu Nuoshui snapped out of her daze, her ditzy smile dropping. What did he just say? It was then she remembered the situation she was in. "I have no idea what you're talking about." She began to tremble when the cold blade was pressed to her face.

"It's very easy to break a woman, especially one who relies on her appearance for money." Jackson darkly chuckled, a crazed look in his eyes.

"So, I will ask you one more time, why did you want to hurt my little sister?"

Lu Nuoshui shrieked when the knife cut her face the slightest bit as he flicked his wrist. It was a minor cut, not deep enough to leave a scar. It was her first warning and when she opened her mouth, there would be no more. The money wired into her account would set her family for life. She did not care what would happen to her face, or so she thought.

"Why should I tell you?" She blurted out and just like that, she sealed her fate.
