Anyways, uh...here's the info for him.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight, (possible asexual)
Full name: Mason Mintz
Backstory:
So Mason isn't gonna be one of those characters that had a really crappy childhood. He was adopted, but it was early in his life, so he hardly even remembers his life before he was adopted.
After a tragedy involving his real parents, his adoptive mother, who is a detective, adopted him and took great care of him. Even though she can't spend a lot of time with him, she always tries to make sure that's he's safe and has friends to hang out with when she's not there (which is often because she's very busy)
Mason strives to be like his mother, who is a hero in his eyes. The two live alone and here is the reason Mason is going to Gravity Falls:
Mason's mom wanted to take Mason on a small vacation to wherever he wanted in the country as an apology for not being home much due to her job. Mason chose Gravity Falls because he was fascinated by the stories of strange happenings in the area. (You'll see more about this in his personality)
Personality:
Mason is 14 years old. He is a curious (and very short) young soul who likes to explore. He loves nature, but he's very clumsy, so he has sustained some injuries in his lifetime. (Luckily, he's still very young, so he can just magically be fine after awhile ig)
Mason is smart in the sense that he has been educated properly, but not that smart when it comes to making safe decisions for himself or his friends. He still has some scars from when he tried to charm a snake with his "Ancient Snake Charmer" that he found in a "Secret Hidden Treasure Cave."
Speaking of which, Mason is quite the conspiracy theorist. He wants to be a detective when he grows up, like his mom. He gets very obsessive about his theories and will not shut the hell up once he starts talking about them.
(For the sake of the story, we can say that he is completely obsessed with the theory that Bill Cipher is an alien from outer space.)
Also Mason is kind of shy when you first talk to him. Once you become friends with him, however, you find that he is quite the optimist.
Mason is also very clumsy. If he does die in the story, I think it would be ironic and funny if it wasn't even Bill's fault. Like, if he just tripped and fell into or hole or something lol.
Oh yeah, also he has dyslexia.
Family:
The only family that he has is his mother, who is a detective. She spends a lot of time trying to crack cases and solve mysteries, and Mason is completely in awe of her skills as a detective. He also wants to be one and solve mysteries when he grows up.
Oh yeah, he also has a pet dog named Duncan (you don't need to include the dog if you don't want to). Duncan is an adorable beagle that Mason received about 2-3 years ago. Duncan follows Mason everywhere and even knows how to roll over on command. :)
