Heyooo, I know it's been a bit since I posted. (I've been busy with Goretober 😬)
But someone had a great idea as they requested that I post my process for making the art for Goretober. So this chapter is a quick behind the scenes for the prompt for this same day.
Enjoy!

So first things first, I had to come up with an idea on what to draw. I haven't planned any of these ahead (only some of the ones I'm most excited for), so I had a lot of options.
I also had to keep in mind that I didn't have a lot of time (maybe 1.5 hours at most), so this was gonna have to be quick.

⬆️Here you can see that I'm using Procreate (my main app for drawing). I have the list of goretober prompts in the top left. Today the theme is "Bites."
So today I was feeling like drawing a Rainbow Friend again because yes. I decided to draw Purple from my story biting a human in his lair. It seemed exciting and different enough.

⬆️The first thing to do when making art is always to make a base sketch. Since I'm drawing mine digitally, I'll be drawing overtop of this layer. If you're ever drawing traditionally (on paper), then just use a light sketching pencil to make easily erasable lines.
As you can see in this image, I used two opposite colors to hightlight the different figures, which is Purple and the human that he's biting. This helps a lot when doing the final lineart.
I also drew a basic background shape to have an idea of the setting. This is important because the lighting depends on the setting.
