Once Risa got settled down at her own home, she felt her phone vibrate. Someone messaged her. Who would it be? She thought.
It was from an unknown number. "Hope you got home safely dear, see you tomorrow." Risa's lips lit up into a smile when she realised who it was. She replied with "I did, thank you. See you tomorrow, Sen." Before walking to her room.
It's no secret that after her husband's death, Risa was still open to dating. There were a few rumours that she dated some different personalities. Some are from tv, some are politicians like her, but they weren't really confirmed.
Risa never thought that she was obligated to reveal those kinds of things to the public. No matter what she does, she's bound to be criticized anyway. Most of the relationships she entered didn't even last long, so why bother? She thought.
She thought it was funny how every single election she gets linked with someone new, usually it's some local politician who was seen with her in public. But the one that really stuck with her is the relationship she had with Leni. People really thought that they were a perfect match, which the two of them found very entertaining.
When Risa arrived at her room, she grabbed a nightgown from her cabinet and headed to the bathroom to get unready. After a while, she came out and looked at the clock, it's already 11 in the evening.
"Time passes by so quickly, I wonder when it will slow down," she says in her mind. She picked up her phone and decided to take a quick look in her social media before going to sleep.
Her feed is mostly related to her work in the senate; Updates about Mayor Guo, POGO hubs, West Philippine Sea, and there's something new. She laughed as she saw a meme. It was an edit featuring her and Alice Guo. It was like those cheesy edits about love teams.
"Sa dinami-dami naman ng tao, sya pa talaga?" She says while she watches the video. After a while, she grew even more tired and sleepy. But right when she was about to close her phone, she saw another edit. This time, it was about her and Loren. It's like the one she saw before but much more well-edited. She smiled as she watched the video. It was clear that she preferred this one rather than the first one.
Before going to bed, she decided to send both videos to Loren's number without saying a word.

Loren woke up early as usual, even before the sun was able to rise. The first thing she did was look on her phone. She saw that Risa sent her a message. She was confused about the video Risa sent. Maybe she didn't really get it. It was Gen Z humor, and Loren is far from Gen Z.
"Dear, I don't get it." Loren messaged Risa.
After some time, Risa finally woke up and saw a message from Loren. She smirked when she realised that the older woman didn't get the joke.
"Sen., kung kani-kanino nila akong pina-partner. Nung una ginawa kaming love team ni Guo tapos pati tayo ginawa din nilang love team" Risa replied
"Ah, ganun ba dear? I didn't understand it, kasi. Bakit naman nila tayong gagawing love team? Artista ba tayo?" Loren said.
"I'm not sure, matagal na po nila 'yang ginagawa sa akin Sen. hinahayaan ko na nga lang po kasi minsan ang cute naman." Risa messaged back.
"Talaga ba? Eh yung tayong dalawa ba, cute ba 'yun?" Loren asked.
"Opo, dati nga kaming dalawa ni Atty. Leni pa. Tapos may ship name pa silang tinatawag, yung parang pangalan ba ng loveteam. LenRisa tawag sa amin dati eh" Risa replied.
The sudden mention of Leni made Loren jealous, especially when Risa didn't answer her question about the two of them.
"Paano na 'yun dear, ano ang tawag sa inyo ni Alice?" Loren asked.
"I'm not sure, sabi nila GuoNtiveros daw eh. How funny, " Risa chatted back.
"Tayo ba, ano sa tingin mo ang tawag sa atin?" Lored asked.
"Ano po ba want mo?" Risa answered without knowing that Loren was serious
"How does it work, ba? Paano tayo mag kakaroom nung 'ship name' na sinasabi nila?" Loren asked. She was really determined to get this love team going.
"Seryoso ka po ba Sen?" Risa asked, confused.
Loren wasn't able to respond.
