The story begins after the event of Gunyin Temple.

"Wei Wuxian was lying under a Mongolia tree, not setting, but laying on his back,
his flute on his left waist, and his right hand on his face, covering his eyes from gazing at the sun. He wasn't sleeping, but thinking about one person, his friend Lan Zhan.

He couldn't help but laugh to himself, Lan Zhan is his friend?!

him, but would he admit it or confess? He already knew the answer, never.
