After two days, Lan Zhan finished preparing the wedding clothes and extra pieces for Wei Ying.

Sizhui returned, and they were all going together with Jingyi.

Wei Ying asked Lan Zhan if he can spoke to Zewu-Jun before they left, and Lan Zhan replied that his brother was in seclusion.

Wei Ying was surprised and thought they should visit him before leaving.
Lan Xichen was at their mother's house, which was part of the Lan clan's territory but a bit far off.

After everything that happened, Lan Xichen lost the will to live and felt betrayed, so he secluded himself. He left the leadership of the clan to Uncle Qiren and Hangung Jun until he felt better, but he knew everything that was going on through his brother Wangji.

When Wangji came to him about marrying Wei Wuxian, he was overjoyed, but he didn't have the strength to forgive himself.

Lan Qiren laid a condition before Wangji, taking care of the clan as leader until further notice, and Lan Zhan agreed.

Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan when they stop at a door, is he? Wei Ying said, and saw Lan Zhan nodding, and they entered the room where Lan Xichen was meditating.

"There was nothing in the room except for a bed standing on the right side, and a wardrobe on the left side with a shelf filled with many books. In the center of the room, there was a table with tea set on it."

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying made themselves comfortable sitting at the tea table, and Lan Zhan started pouring tea for them.

Lan Xichen opened his eyes and smiled, calling "Didi, Master Wei?" Before sitting down, Lan Zhan poured tea for him too. Wei Ying laughed and said, "You can call me brother too, I don't mind." Lan Xichen replied with a smile, "Not until you call me Brother like Wangji does." Wei Ying agreed,

"Mn, you should call him brother too", Lan Zhan said.

"After a moment of silence, Xichen broke the awkward silence, "Brother Wei, I wanted to thank you for accepting Wangji's feelings and agreeing to marry him. Please take good care of him for me. You know, Didi suffered for 16 years after losing you, and at that time, I didn't know he... BROTHER!" Lan Zhan called out, and Xichen smiled at him, "Okay, okay, I won't say anything anymore.
" Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan with a gaze, but didn't say a word.

"Don't worry, Xichen ge, I will definitely take care of him," Wei Ying promised, his voice filled with emotion, he rise his three fingers, his eyes moist with tears. Lan Zhan grab his other hand, squeezed his hand gently, his heart filled with love."

Xichen tactfully shifted the conversation to ease the emotional mood, sipping his tea before asking about their wedding preparations. Wei Ying blushed and smiled, deflecting the question to Lan Zhan, who was handling everything. However, they revealed their plan to find Wei Ying's grandmother before the wedding. Xichen showed interest, asking if Wei Ying knew her whereabouts.
Wei Ying's endearing reaction - scratching the center of his head, pouting, and tapping his nose - captured Lan Zhan's heart, filling him with an overwhelming desire to shower Wei Ying with kisses.

Wei Ying felt Lan Zhan's intense gaze and looked away, smiling at Xichen, i knew the mountains, but.. but i...i don't want to go alone.

"I'll go with Wei Ying, you're not alone anymore." Lan  Zhan reassured him.

Wei Ying is trying to hold back tears, but Lan Zhan sees through it and decides to shower him with love and affection instead. He embraces Wei Ying tightly, professes his love, and covers his face with kisses, wanting Wei Ying to feel cherished and never alone again. Wei Ying's giggles and Lan Zhan's desire for his happiness showcase the pure joy and love they share.

"Wei Ying should always be happy, " Lan Zhan comment.

Xichen smiled, relieved to see his brother happy, and now he will focused on his own healing. The brothers shared a heartfelt goodbye, promising to see each other at the wedding. The moment was filled with joy, love, and a sense of closure, as they all smiled at each other before parting ways.
