We rushed Minghao to the hospital because he had experienced contractions and some bleeding. It is a scary thing but I hope the baby and he will be fine. The tears he is shedding at the moment is full of sorrow and anguish that I cannot tell whether it is more from the physical pain of contractions or from the emotional pain of knowing the man he loves is set to marry another person. I have seen this movie before didn't I?

The others already left but I had to stay and wait for Minghao, of course I am his family. DK wanted to come but I told him to look after the kids instead as no one will be home for Hangyul. Mingyu came straight to me when he learned about what happened so now it is the two of us waiting for Joshua to come out and give us an update.

It took 3 hours before someone came out of the room, the nurses were leaving one by one, seems like it was finished. After a few more minutes, Joshua came out, took off the cap and mask he was wearing and wiped his sweat.

Joshua: the operation was successful, the baby is good but he had to be in the incubator for a few weeks since he was premature.

Wonwoo: How was Minghao?

Joshua: His vitals are stable already but he was still sleeping, will probably wake up maybe tonight or tomorrow but he should be alright, fingers crossed we will not have any complications

Mingyu: Are we allowed to visit his child already?

Joshua: Yes, you still have an hour before they close viewing of neonates. Follow me.

We went to the NICU, we are only allowed outside, the wall is made of glass and you can see curtains, when someone views a baby they just move the curtain on that particular bed so the family can ses their newborn baby.

Wonwoo: He looks just like Jun...

Mingyu: Minghao's partner?

Wonwoo: Ex partner maybe?

Mingyu:...

Wonwoo: He is gonna get married to somebody else, that is what trigger Minghao's contractions.

Mingyu clenched his jaw and looked like he remembered this was the exact situation we were in.

Mingyu: Is it a business partnership? what are their names?

Wonwoo: I don't really know what the arranged marriage is for but Minghao's partner is Wen Junhui.

Mingyu: Wen? hmmm rings a bell... Is it from Wen Enterprise?

Wonwoo: Yes

Mingyu: didn't know Minghao's partner to be this rich

Wonwoo: I didn't know either, as far as their stories, I thought it was Minghao's family who was rich and was opposed to their relationship so Minghao was disinherited because he chose Jun.

Mingyu: What was Minghao's last name again?

Wonwoo: Sorry I only know Jun's because he was already using Jun's last name as they were married.

Mingyu: So basically, you are telling me Minghao met Jun as a commoner and then they fall in love?

Wonwoo: Seems like it.

Mingyu: The Wen Enterprise has some partnerships with us especially during the time of my father. (scoffs) well, old bastards think alike, look at how they set their son's in situations like this. I even met the old man more than a year ago because they were asking for investors but I rejected their proposal since their company values don't really align with mine and you already know how much my father reacted to that.
