It's been another few weeks since Aunt Maggie punished me, and I think I have learned my full lesson and have come to terms with something. I have fully come to terms with being a girl this summer. I realized it is too late now at this time in the summer to switch back, so I'll have to remain Lucy instead of Lucas.

I have also remained out of contact with Daisy. After she used her blackmail against me that one day, she seemed to have stopped. She already caused enough damage, though, as I can't help but think about boys.

Aunt Maggie hasn't been too bad after she punished me. Her only problem is that I think she forgot I was even a boy at all. I decided to be okay with this, though, as I feel like she does things for me with good intentions.

On this particular day, I was cleaning around the house as usual, as there's not too much to do anymore. I feel like I already ruined my summer due to what Daisy has put me through.

As I was cleaning and thinking about all the problems Daisy has put me through, Aunt Maggie walked into the room with a question on her mind. As I turn to her, she asks the question. "Hey Lucy, do you think you can run to the grocery store to get some ingredients for dinner?" Aunt Maggie asks.

"Sure!" I thought as I would do anything to find something new to be able to do. I then finished dusting a bookshelf I was working on and then went to my room to put on my shoes so I could go to the store. I went to Maggie and grabbed the money, making my way out the door and to the grocery store.

I reached the grocery store with the list on my mind. "I need to get a few cans of goods and then head over to the dairy section," I thought as I grabbed a basket.

I started to look around the store when I noticed someone was checking me out. I looked over to see a cute guy I caught staring at me. When I looked over at him, he quickly looked away as we made a second of eye contact.

"He's cute and looks kind of familiar," my mind thought as I turned onto a new isle, still looking for the items on my list. Right when I was finding one of the last items on my list, I heard a voice behind me. "Uh miss?" A voice spoke behind me. I turned around to see the same guy who was looking at me before, except now he was right in front of me and talking to me.

"Uh, hi," I said in a nervous tone, matching his energy. He then changed his demeanor a bit, and gaining a bit of confidence, he started to speak: "Hey, I saw you and thought you were pretty. Maybe I could get your number?"

"Yes!" I said, forgetting to hide my excitement. We then exchanged numbers, and right before he left, he asked me my name, to which I replied Lucy, and then I asked him his name, and he said "Jack." We then walked our separate ways. As we were walking away, I couldn't help but think about how familiar he looked and how I thought I might know Jack.

Then it clicked. I realized I actually knew this guy, and he was actually from my hometown! I didn't know what to do, but I just decided not to worry about it, as I don't think he will recognize me.

I continued to shop and get the rest of the items that were on the list. Once I got all the items, I made my way to check out and then left the store. Once I reached the house, I felt my phone buzz and saw that Jack was already texting me. I decided to respond because, even though there was a lot of risk, I couldn't help myself.

We continued to text for quite a while as I finished bringing in the groceries and started to help make dinner. After we ate dinner, I found myself not being able to keep my hands off my phone, and I found myself texting away with Jack.

Now lying in bed, I realized I couldn't keep lying to him if I wanted to be with him, but this could be a big risk as my summer could get back to my town. I decided that I couldn't help myself any longer and decided to text him, saying that we actually knew each other and I was Lucas, but I'm a girl now. I wasn't really sure how to word it, but I was hoping he would be accepting.

I tossed my phone to the other side of the bed, as I felt like I just sent a super risky text. While thinking if that was a good idea or not, I heard my phone vibrate, knowing he probably responded. As I heard the noise, I quickly jumped over to where my phone was to see the response.

As I looked, I read the message in my head: "I thought you looked familiar! It's okay, and I'm completely fine with it. I can see why you were timid to tell me." After reading that response, I jumped up with glee, realizing that I actually have a chance of this working out.

After that happened and we talked a bit more, he soon asked me out on a casual movie date, to which I happily responded. A little bit later, I found it to be 4 a.m., and we were feeling really tired, so we ended up saying good night. Not too long after, I found myself only thinking about him and how the end of this summer may have just turned around for the best as I went to sleep.
