A Warrior and a Hero (Tsuyu Asui x Male Reader)

Prologue: The Bounty Hunter

A masked warrior in armor was running through a hail of bullets. He charges toward an armored man with a large robot starting behind him.

"Come on!" the bounty shouted. "Start up, you stupid machine!"

The robot fully activated and fires two missiles at the boy, but he dodged them and pulled the back in the direction they were shot from. They blew up the robot and the Bounty looked back for a minute before the warrior jumped up and knocked him out with a high-speed punch.

The Warrior salvaged a core from the robot and tied up the bounty. He then took his motorcycle and arrived at a settlement, where he turned in the bounty at a jailhouse.

"Another job well done," the warden said. "Glad to be working with ya, V. Now get that core to the Tech House."

He handed V a bundle of cash, and so, V left and went to the Tech House, where multiple pieces of ancient technology are being studied and experimented on. V handed the core to the head scientist and gets a pair of blasters.

"These cores are incredibly durable," the head scientist said. "If they hadn't contained data from before the Nano Wave Event, we'd comply with the Heroes' demands to hand them over for proper disposal and be on equal footing with the quirk population."

V: "Got anything else for me?"

HS: "No, but the Warden thought I should give you this seeing that you'll immediately come for the next bounty."

The HS handed V a wanted poster of a villain called "Razor Bite".

HS: "He's in the nearest city, which is walled and filled with heroes like the other cities that try to avoid anything to do in these 'Badlands'. I'd suggest going and capture them before the heroes do. Bounty's off once that happens".

V: "Got it."

You got on your bike and drove for an hour before parking near a tree a mile outside the wall. You pushed a button that scrambles the wall's defense system and ran at high speeds before jumping over to the other side.

Once you landed, you and detected Razor Teeth's signal underground. You entered the sewers and followed the signal to an underground warehouse, where you saw Razor Teeth and several men unloading crates of weapons.

Suddenly, a girl with a frog-like appearance and costume landed right next to yourself.

"Uh... can I help you?"

"Holy!" she shouted, surprised. "I didn't think there was someone else here. Actually, who are you and what are you doing here?"

"None of your business, but the steel shark teeth guy is mine to capture."

"Seriously? You're a bounty hunter? I don't think it's legal for you to be here."

"You may be right, but while I may not know about Heroes, I can tell that you're not a full-fledged one and shouldn't be here on your own."

Suddenly, the men aimed their weapons at the two of you and you jumped in. You fought the men and used your skills and speed to take them out.

Razor Teeth: "So, you're the bounty hunter Volt. I'm nothing like the others you've captured."

V: "I'm aware."

Suddenly, the girl used her long tongue to grab a crate and swing at Razor Teeth. You then punched him several times before doing a roundhouse kick that shattered his teeth.

"You're right," the frog girl said, "but a friend of mine says that sometimes we have to do the right thing even if it means getting in trouble. I was just on patrol and going to report this, but that changed when I saw this guy. Maybe I could fudge the truth a bit."

"Fudge what? You appeared and saw someone take out a smuggling operation and ran away with an incapacitated villain. That's the whole truth. Better stay safe in this dangerous world.

"I don't know too much about you, but I could say the same."

You nodded and ran out of the sewers, back to your bike with the bounty. During your ride, you received a call from a contact called "Yonah".

Yonah: "Big brother, when are you coming home?"

"Just have to turn in one more thing and I'll be back to make your favorite dinner."

Yonah: "Okay. Can't wait to see you."

They hang up and V keeps driving.
