The sound of the monitor beeping slowly sends the anxiety through everyone in the room.

Imani laid next to her sister, maggie fast asleep and dejah on the phone.

The moment Ashanti went unconscious, nurses stormed into the room and got her hooked up incase of any fatalities.

" mi caah deh everywhere at once, rajah is in a stable condition " dejah says trying to calm down.

She had to be back and fourth from the hospital rajah was at and back here with ashanti. She haven't slept in the last 20hours and felt lightheaded.

" yuh alright?" Imani asked scrolling on her phone .

She had spend the whole night next to ashanti . Not even giving a shit if she had school the next day, she would rather stay home.

A slight knock on the door grabs her attention, A nurse dressed in a light pink scrub entered the room and waved at them heading to ashanti.

" how is she doing ?" Dejah asked.

" she is doing alright, the baby may have been pressured due to over stressed feelings " the nurse says .

And dejah sighs.... Ashanti was always worked up about rajah and her job. She was always thinking of them both plus the child .

" she needs adequate sleep and also to eat more fruits and relax her mind for a bit , will be discharging her today when she wakes up with some vitamins and also some pills " the nurse says and wrote something down handing it to dejah.

" thank you so much " dejah smiles taking the paper.

" i would suggest u guys go home and get some rest and fresh up, I'm sure by then she will be awake and ready to leave ".

Ashanti had finally woke up. Her moments were hauled as she felt around her stomach feeling her baby kicking.

A large smile formed on her lips as she began to rub her stomach back and fourth .

" ah, u are awake mrs Bailey" the nurse says stepping into the room.

She hands her a clipboard to sign up and some vitamins and pills .

" where is my family?" She asked the nurse in a panic.

" your family is at home, about to arrive any minute now " she told her and began to walk away when ashanti grabbed her forearm.

" and rajah?" She asked with tears filling her eyes.

" Ive heard he is in very stable conditions and will be making speedy recovery " she
Says giving her a warm smile and a hug .

I laid still in the bed trying to process everything. Will i even accept the deal to go to New York in this state ? , right now my mind was made up.

A knock on the door and i lifted my head with a frown . Shane stood at the door with flowers and a little bag in his hand.

I motioned for him to come inside and he does , sitting next to the bed.
