Ashanti pov.

It has been a month!.

Today was Reign's check up at the doctors and Dejah promised to drop off duijai because I wasn't going to be selfish and think about myself.

I stood by the door waiting for them to show up after setting my appointment from last weekend.

Placing the fan on Reign and I , The place began to feel a bit more cooler and I smiled at that .

The wooden doors open revealing Dejah and Naj and behind them was Duijai with a gift basket and some flowers .

I wasn't speechless nor did I feel excited to get flowers. This wasn't going to make a difference other than him continuing to lie and cheat on me .

" Yow mek mi chat to yuh " he says grabbing my arm dragging me down the halls.

I gave the baby to Dejah and followed him until we came to the workers Rest room. He place the flowers on a small table and closed the door bringing me to sit down.

" mi fucking sorry ashanti an yuh know seh mi nuh mean it " he mumbles as Tears began falling down his face.

I felt bad.

" sorry mi caah help yuh Duijai" I sighed.

I didn't want to do this right now , he was using the card against me because he knew how much I loved him and the life we had together.

" I will accept anything u bring for me or Reign but I need some time away from u" I mumbled walking pass him an took up the flowers .

Letting out a Shakey breath, Dejah looks at me worriedly but saw duijai and sighed. Taking Reign from her we began to enter the office and got a seat putting Her on my lap while Duijai sat beside me but we didnt exchange any more words.

' GOOD MORNING" a high pitched voice said marching into the room.

I looked up and made eye contact with Sade as she glanced at Duijai. There was no need for sudden tension but the way she was looking at me definitely told me this has a lot to do with Shane and the office situation.

" I will just do a quick check up and the u guys are free to go....Miss bailey Can I speak to u afterwards?" she asked and I nodded wondering what she needed to say to me .

" well she seems to be about 3 going into 4 months , so lets check weight and height and then other key important stuff that she might need before we wrap up" she informed AND I gave her Reign as they both head to the baby scale .

Duijai placed his arm around me and I got tense up at first but allowed him for the sake of my child, She weight the baby and also checked her height before returning back into the main room.

" well you're daughter is 21in{53.7cm} and her weight is approximately 5.4kg{12lbs} so she seems fine, make sure to feed her fruits and give her good amount of water since the climate changes and the place can get extremely hot at times" she Reads off the clipboard writing down most stuff on the sheet.

I nodded my head while she went through the other stuff.

23mins later.

We had wrapped up the session and I began to head to the door before she stopped me and reminded me about the conversation we pose' to have .

Handing the baby to duijai, he stayed outside while she brought me to the other room to talk.

The mood was a bit sweet and sour as I didn't know what to say or do...so I stood there looking at the grey walls of the office.

She then looks up at me and cleared her throat " Yuh know that me and shane together right?" She asked.

Really? This was the big conversation she wanted to speak on.

Nonetheless I answered her calmly " Yes very much aware and what seems to be the problem?".

" well I think its better if u don't go around him anymore, Things have been really rocky between us " she says mumbling the last part.

So she is totally worried about shane and I ?? But won't judge the fact har own other in law despise her being around ...ok.

Avoiding eye contact I muttered " Well then maybe If he had someone to be there for him it wouldn't happen, you're worried about the wrong thing" .

She looks at me with her mouth Ajar but I didn't care. Really thinks am trying to swoop into her little dead relationship with an asshole husband? Pass !.

I grabbed my purse off the table and walked out the room seeing Reign and Rajah sitting on the bench with her baby bag .

Walking over to them, he stood up and I kissed Reign's head as they followed behind me to the car .

Dejah had left with Naj so that means Rajah has to ride with me . He insisted on driving us back home and I was a little tired to giving him the keys was my option.

The ride was calm... we didn't really say much but our brains were literally communicating.

" yuh wah summo fi eat?" He asked seeing the mall up ahead.

I nodded " yeah can get some burger or summo".

He smiled and drove into the mall parking in a empty spot. Stepping out the car , he took up Reign and then came to my door to open it.

Handing me Reign, he closed the door and let us walk Infront with him following behind me .

Nobody knew I had a baby so This wasn't a much great time to be seen in the public eye but I gotta do what I Gotta do.

Reaching for the burger king door, rajah lets us step inside and walk in behind me .

Already his adoring fans began to record us and I got a little scared placing Reign's blanket over her face.

He got me a little table and went to order us something to eat . Popping out my tiddie, I placed Reign under the blanket and fed her since she began to get cranky when I offered her the baby bottle.

A short female came dashing to my table with her friends just a little feet away. She kept trying to peep on Reign and I didn't feel comfortable.

" Can I help u? If not can u please give the baby some space " I smiled kindly and she didn't seem to like that.

" A wah do u? True ya fuck awtis ya smaddy?" She scoffed and went back to her friends .

I was goin to answer her but Rajah came back sitting directly Infront of me and slide the burger towards me .

He took Reign from me and Told me to eat while he played with her .

After a while we wrapped up and went back to the house where I went straight to bed and tried to forget he was even in the house .

A while after I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my body and his soft lips kissing my nape sending shivers down my spine.
