Chapter 4:Drop-Zone

-3rd POV:Caribbean Sea, June 22nd, 20:08 ECT-

In the middle of the night, Megan's Bio-Ship could be found flying towards an isolated island and the entire team inside, with Robin remembering the briefing Batman had given the team back at Mount Justice before they set out towards their destination. That they were a recon team sent to the island nation of Santa Prisca to find out why all shipments of a strength-enhancing drug called Venom had stopped despite the island still being inhabited.

And that the team also had to decide who would be their leader on their own during this mission. Something Robin was very confident he'd been chosen to do without any need for conformation from his teammates. Though the sound of Megan speaking brought him back to reality.

"Megan:Drop zone A in thirty."

Hearing that, Kaldur stood up as his seat morphed into the floor of the Bio-Ship, with the Atlantean pressing the symbol on his belt causing his suit to enter its Stealth mode, turning black and grey.

"Kaldur:Ready."

"Megan:Putting Bio-Ship in Camouflage Mode."

As the Bio-Ship turned almost completely invisible, Megan flew down low to the water surrounding Santa Prisca as a hole simultaneously opened up in the floor in front of Kaldur, letting him jump down into the sea, slicing through a metal fence with a water blade made from one of his Water-Bearers, before quickly making his way onto the shore and placing a small device on a scanner. Talking to the rest of the team through an earpiece.

"Kaldur:Heat and motion sensors are patched. Data is now om a continuous loop. Move in."

With that, Megan quickly flew the Bio-Ship over to the next drop zone as everyone got ready for their part in the mission, with Megan making to rappel cords morph out of the ceiling of the Bio-Ship for Robin and Wally, who also activates his suits new stealth mode by pressing the lighting bolt on his chest, and looking like a kid on Christmas.

"Wally:How cool is this?"

"Megan:Very impressive."

Like both Wally and Kaldur, Megan made her own outfit morph into a stealth mode of sorts, only her's was a literally morph into a form-fitting black jumpsuit with a large red X on her chest, while keeping her blue cape but adding a hood to it.

"Wally:Nice. Hey Supey, Stop Light, it's not to late for you two to put on the new stealth tech."

In contrast to everyone else who wore some form of Superhero outfit, Superboy always stuck with a simple pair of boots, jeans, and a black shirt with Superman's S Shield symbol on the front, while (Y/N) stayed in his Red Lantern uniform that made him stick out like a glowing red stop light.

"Superboy:No capes, no tights. No offence."

"(Y/N):Some taken. Besides, Wally, I would if I could. At least I won't look like a regular guy like someone here."

"Superboy:Seriously?"

"(Y/N):I'm just saying you might look better in something else."

"Megan:It totally works for you, (Y/N)."

As everyone turned to Megan, who was staring at (Y/N), clearly admiring how some parts of his suit left a bit to little to the imagination, the Martian quickly tried to hide the real meaning of what she'd just said.

"Megan:In that red is definitely your colour and looks great on you."

As Megan gave an awkward thumbs up to (Y/N), he briefly stared at her before turning to look out the window, causing Megan to pull her hood over her head and turn invisible, feeling incredibly embarrassed while Wally let out a quite groan. Silently agreeing it would be best to move on from the awkward air now hovering over the group, Megan opened up a large hole in the floor of the Bio-Ship, letting everyone exit the vehicle. Megan and (Y/N) doing so by gently hovering to the ground, Wally and Robin rappelling down, and then Superboy jumping down and crashing onto the ground causing what felt like a small earthquake and leaving a small crator in the ground.
