"Pamela!!" Dylan calls out, waving at me.
Well....Pamela is my second name and it is what Dylan prefers to call me.
I don't know why though.
I see him sitting on a seat by the left side of the bar I had just walked into. We hang out in this particular bar....like a lot so I wasn't really surprised when Dylan asked to meet up with me here.
I give out a weak smile as I start walking towards him.
On reaching the table, Dylan stands and gives me a big hug.
"Hey, babe..." He says.
"Hey, babe....." I call back, pulling away from him.
He gives me a passionate kiss on my lips which I return unenthusiastically.
Pretty unusual for someone like me, who loves to kiss and to be kissed. I never return a kiss without so much enthusiasm.
Well.....that aside.
I can't believe I'm actually talking about kiss.....enthusiasm.....boo-hoo, when there's something really urgent going on with me.
That's enough, Natalie.....you talk too much.....
Sure, I do.....
I thought.
"God! I've missed you so much, babe." Dylan says.
"I've missed you too." I say.
"Please, sit down. What would you like to drink?" Dylan asks.
"Uh.....actually....can we go somewhere else?" I ask.
"Somewhere else? What's wrong?" Dylan asks.
"Nothing.....just....I wanna go somewhere quiet so we can discuss better. It's pretty noisy in here." I say.
"Alright then. Let's get out of here." Dylan says.
I smile gratefully.
This is one of the reasons why I love Dylan so much. Sometimes he doesn't argue about any choice I make. Once I tell him that I'm uncomfortable with something, he doesn't hesitate to find a solution.
It's been like that since we started dating, three years ago.
Dylan and I proceed to leave the bar.
Outside the bar......
"So, where do you wanna go?" Dylan asks.
"Well....let's just go by the bridge. I think it's gonna be quiet enough for us to discuss." I say.
"The bridge" is another place that we hang out a lot.
"Okay, let's go. You want us to walk or should we go with my car?" Dylan asks.
"Let's just take your car." I say.
"Sure...."
I make my way towards Dylan's car that is parked just across the road.
Few minutes later......
"Is this quiet enough?" Dylan asks me.
We're now standing by the bridge that we've just gotten to.
"Yeah, it is. Thanks for respecting my choice of leaving the bar to come here." I say.
"It's nothing, babe. I'd do anything for you." Dylan says, looking into my eyes.
I smile and Dylan smiles back.
"So.....what's the important thing you wanna discuss with me?" Dylan asks.
