[Code number 310 Dr. Seok-hwa's room has been forcibly opened.]

Someone opened the door and Seok-hwa, who had fallen asleep on the floor, was pushed aside. Seok-hwa looked up with sleepy, watery eyes as he was pushed against the door. Three men in military uniforms were looking down at him. Their sleeves were adorned with a familiar eagle emblem, which Seok-hwa recognized.

They were the military police of Rainbow City.

"Dr. Seok-hwa, I rang the bell and got no answer, so I forced the door open, please forgive my rudeness."

"...... it's fine."

"When you're awake, we'll need you to come with us."

He couldn't believe it. Did yesterday's concerns become today's reality? However, Seok-hwa's facial expression was the same as usual. Two soldiers of the military police approached and helped Seok-hwa up.

"Can I take a shower before I leave?"

"Yes, we'll wait."

Seeing that they didn't forcefully take him with them, he didn't think the situation was as serious as he had imagined.

Seok-hwa took a chocolate bar from the drawer and munched on it to calm his nerves. He took his time eating, noticing that the military police were getting bored, but he slowly filled up on sugar. He went to the bathroom, took a cold shower, brushed his teeth, and came out to find the military police waiting for him at the door. Finally, he took three energy pills, one after the other, and quenched his thirst with bottled water.

Seok-hwa followed the military police into the elevator and went down to the third basement level. It was originally used as a parking lot, but has now been renovated and divided into the military police's office and investigation room. It had been a very long time since Seok-hwa came here. And he still couldn't get used to the gloomy atmosphere.

Passing through several offices, a steel door was visible at the end. Seok-hwa's eyelids twitched several times at the sign that read "Investigation Room." There was nothing to be afraid of. There was nothing to fear. I did not participate in the rebellion, I just had doubts about Dr. Oh Yang-seok's death.

"Please go inside."

The heavy door of the investigation room opened, and Seok-hwa entered without hesitation. Inside, there were several rooms with steel doors. Seok-hwa entered the third investigation room. Inside, the waiting room and the interrogation room were separated around the magic mirror. Looking beyond the magic mirror where the microphone and video recording devices were running, a man sitting there could be seen. Seok-hwa was pushed through the door next to him once again.

The man who had been waiting inside stood up, his face flushed.

"Are you here, doctor?"

From inside, the magic mirror only reflected the man and himself. The epaulets of the man who approached and shook his hand were silver.

"I am Major Yoo Jung-kyung of the military police."

"I am Seok-hwa with the research division."

Seok-hwa glanced at the outstretched hand and promptly made his way to his seat. He pulled out the stiff chair and sat down, placing his hands on his thighs.
