***Part 1

Kwak Soo-hwan was driving a jeep back to Gwacheon from Uijeongbu when he had to ram into a group of charging Adams. For some reason, there were more of them than usual, and they were all dressed in military uniforms. The Garden of Eden must have been doing something to the soldiers in this area. However, he didn't hear the reason why Seok-hwa had come down to Gwacheon. It couldn't be that he came down because he wanted to see him. His voice wasn't even cheerful.

"Well, when were you ever bright and cheerful."

Kwak Soo-hwan opened the window and waved away the lingering cigarette smoke on his body. The radio that was intentionally left on was playing Rainbow City's broadcast.

Sometimes, there are encrypted broadcasts containing Rainbow City's orders (encrypted broadcasts: using random numbers generated from combinations of numbers, words, and characters to deliver messages through shortwave broadcasts). So he usually turned on the radio when getting into the Jeep. It was also fun to interpret the random broadcasts filled with the First Master's secrets.

[An emerging religion, the Garden of Eden, is attempting to shake up the peaceful Rainbow City. They've committed the felony of hacking into our frequencies, and are misleading people with uncertain vaccines.]

Although it is said to be a new religion, the actual creation of the Garden of Eden is much older than they might think. At the time, it was one of the many emerging religions, so it only grew in size very recently.

The more chaotic and difficult the world is to live in, the more powerful religion tends to be, and in that sense, the Garden of Eden's arrival with the vaccine was a salvation that would inspire tremendous faith. If they get it right this time, they'll probably have more believers than even Rainbow City can handle.

[Our fine citizens, listen up. We have just received the same results from the Yeouido Shelter, Gangnam Shelter, and Kangbuk Shelter in Rainbow City at the same time. The vaccine distributed by the Garden of Eden has been examined and found to be ineffective!]

Since the window was open and the wind was noisy, he turned up the volume.

[Citizens should never, ever, administer the vaccine distributed by the Garden of Eden as it contains ingredients that may cause adverse reactions. Military forces have been deployed to each region to retrieve the fake vaccine distributed by the Garden of Eden. Citizens who bring in their own vaccines will receive a reward from Rainbow City. Wise citizens will not be fooled by fake vaccines and false stories. Rainbow City is the only fence to protect our good citizens.]

Kwak Soo-hwan laughed.

He had no way of knowing if the vaccine was real or fake. However, seeing him say the same thing over and over again like a parrot, it was highly likely that the vaccine was real due to the nature of Rainbow City that he had seen so far.

The masters are going to get their asses handed to them.

Kwak Soo-hwan thought about reaching for his cigarette again, but then realized how close they were to the Gwacheon shelter. The last thing he needed was for Dr. Seok, who was already weak, to get his lungs sick. He'd seen many mutants with strange traits, but he'd never seen anyone so obsessed with stones before.
