Chapter 35
-Lorenzo Di Luca-
"Was Dmitriy always this good at football?" Kirill commented beside me, his eyebrows raising in surprise.
Our little nephew asked to play football, and we were all shocked when his father quickly agreed and quickly went to the garden to play with him. Izzy soon joined them, and Nicco also followed her. Now they're all out there, happily playing football. Meanwhile, Kirill, Gio, and I are inside, still shocked while watching them play.
"When he wasn't being a selfish little stronzo that would always throw a tantrum if he didn't get the ball." I rolled my eyes, remembering how much I disliked playing any game or sports with Sandro when we were kids because he just always had to be the winner or score the most points.
"So we really have a nephew," Gio chimed in.
"And he's a cute kid." Kirill agreed.
"Cute until he turns into Alessandro 2.0," he added, and I quickly smacked his shoulder at his comment.
There's no fucking hell our nephew will turn out like his father.
"At six years old, Sandro already stabbed me with a fucking knife twice; there wasn't a day we wouldn't fight for the stupidest thing, and of course the thing being his fault. As far as I can see, Gabriel's actually different from his father aside from the physical features he shares with him," I told them.
"So what now? Are we really going to trust him?" Kirill turned to face me, and I know exactly what that look of his entails.
"Si. I can feel that he really has changed. Besides, it's better to have Sandro as an ally than an enemy." I nod my head.
I'm really going to pull the trigger on his head this time if it turns out otherwise.
"He loves our good for nothing father," Gio pointed out.
"He loves killing more, fratellino."
"Sometimes it takes a monster to defeat another monster."
And good thing for us, we already have a readily available killing machine monster who we can release anytime.

By some miracle, Nicco finally agreed and said that he's cool with me being friends with Francis only after he said some pretty unkind words to him, which sounded like a threat if he ever does something to hurt me, which is just silly because I can't really see Francis doing anything like that to me.
But I don't believe him, especially with the way he is glaring at Francis now all the way from over here, where we're standing while waiting for Enzo, who was parking his car.
I guess being overprotective of me is what my brothers all have in common.
But I know Enzo is my more reasonable brother.
"You lie, Nicco." I shook my head at him. He immediately snaps out of his dark thoughts, probably filled with ways of hurting Francis, and turns his head to look down at me.
"Lie? About what?" He looks at me confused.
"You said you were cool with me and Francis being friends already!" I exclaimed.
"I did say that, but I still don't like it."
"Why not?"
"He's a boy!"
That's probably the dumbest thing he's ever said to me.
Enzo walks in and flicks Nicco's forehead. "You're a boy too, genius. Leave our sister be."
