Chapter 34
-Isabella Di Luca-
"I-I'm home." I stuttered out and gulped as soon as I stepped out of the car. Sandro and little Gabriel followed.
I had a terrible feeling as soon as we got back home.
And that terrible feeling quickly came through as I yelped when all of a sudden lots and lots of Enzo's guards came out of nowhere and surrounded the three of us, each holding a gun. My eyes were widening in fear. Are they going to shoot at us?
"Signorina Isabella!" I almost let out a sigh in relief upon seeing Luigi, but the guards were still not lowering their guns.
Then Sandro patted my head and whispered to me,
"Go and take Gabriel; you'll be okay; I'm the one they want."
Oh. That makes sense, I guess.
"But they're going to hurt you." I shook my head as I looked up at him, but he was unfazed and looked like he was already expecting this kind of greeting.
"I'm going to be fine, sorella, just take Gabriel and go to Luigi, si?"
I hesitantly nodded my head and looked at my brother worriedly. He turned and looked at his son for a moment and spoke to him.
"We're just playing guns, and you'll soon meet your uncles later, piccolo tigre." (little tiger)
The little boy let out a bright smile as he believed his father's words. I still can't believe how gentle and amazing he is with Gabriel. It's almost out of Sandro's character, but from what I just saw later, he really is a good father to him.
I took Gabriel's little hand and went to Luigi; the guards quickly let us through with no problem. They're all just focused on keeping Sandro trapped in there, almost like if he makes one wrong move, they'll shoot him. I'm really scared, but I held it together for my little nephew, who did not understand what's going on.
Luigi the butler smiled in relief seeing me, but his eyes widened as soon as he saw Gabriel. He didn't say anything though.
"Where are Enzo, Gio, and Kiri?" I quickly asked him. They are the only ones who can stop them from hurting Sandro.
"They all went out to find you when that Rossi boy came here earlier and told them that Signor Alessandro took you from school, but I already messaged them, so they're on their way back as we speak," he explained to me.
"You have to tell the guards to stop and let go of Sandro, Luigi! He means no harm, I promise! He came here to talk."
Luigi only shook his head and frowned at me.
"Signor Alessandro already hurt you and the famiglia a couple of times, Signorina. He's a wanted man to the famiglia. Only Don Lorenzo can make the guards stand down."
I understand that, but Sandro has changed already. He doesn't want to hurt any of us anymore. He really has changed and is trying to make up for his bad doings.
"Let us get you both inside, Signorina, as we await for your fratelli e cugino." (brothers and cousin)
"We're going to wait for them here." I stubbornly shook my head and squeezed Gabriel's hand.

-Alessandro Di Luca-
My sister and my son were still within eyesight, standing there beside our loyal butler, probably worried about whether I'm going to be shot or not. I'm not even the slightest bit scared or alarmed; all I cared about was scaring the two of them, so I remained calmly standing here even though I knew I could easily take all of these fuckers down in an instant.
