-FROM THE PROLOGUE-

/11 years ago/

The car crashed just right at the edge of a cliff.

Seventeen years old Jaxon, the second born son of the Visconti family, was the only one who's conscious inside the car, the young teenage boy's whole body was shaking in fear, anguish, and anger. But mostly it was anguish. He could feel the pain burning in his entire body, but this is not what's hurting him the most.

His elder brother, Tristan whose eighteen, sat in the driver's seat beside him, his head rested in the wheel and turned on his side so he has a clear view of the blood all over his head and face which probably was caused by how hard he hit the wheel when they crashed. The only sign that told him Tristan was still alive was because he could still hear his ragged breathing. Jaxon looks at the rear view mirror and found his two younger brothers, Seth whose fourteen and Atlas whose only five, both unconscious too.

All three of them are all critically injured and unconscious.

Then he remembered his parents.

They were dead.

They have been killed.

He and his siblings watched as those horrible men killed their parents, and before they could also get to them, Tristan immediately took all of his younger siblings to his car and tried to escape, unfortunately they were still caught.

Jaxon couldn't believe this is his reality.

His parents are dead and he and his siblings are going to be next.

He lets out a pathetic sob as his entire body shakes, this sudden movement however awakened his three years old little sister, Hope, who remained safely tucked and shielded in his arms. Jaxon looks down at Hope and immediately tries his best to stop his tears while he shielded her more with his body, trying to prevent her from seeing Tristan who is unconscious and bloody.
