Enid's face sinks. She says nothing

She walks towards the door without another word. Enid looks up and bolts to the door slamming it shut as Wednesday opens it and then leaning her back against it, keeping Wednesday locked inside.

WEDNESDAY

ENID

You're not doing that. You're a better friend than that. You don't get to ask me a favour and then duck out when I'm turmoil over my sexuality. I know your friendship experience is limited but I don't think you're that socially challenged to not understand when someone is potentially about to come out to them. So go and sit down and be my friend. *pauses* please

Enid's eyes raise slowly as Wednesday doesn't react for a good 10 seconds. Eventually she rolls her eyes and turns, walking over to her bed and sitting on it. She makes eye contact with Enid and Enid understands it's an invite. She rapidly walks towards her and sits down next to Wednesday and smiles warmly

WEDNESDAY

Ok. Rapid fire questions. No hesitation. Accept consequence. No judgement. You ready?

Enid turns her body towards Wednesday and Wednesday turns to Enid. Enid takes a breath out and dramatically cracks her neck.

Wednesday raises her eyebrows and smirks until Enid smiles back

Enid puts her head in her hands but she's smiling behind her fingers

Enid takes Wednesday's hand and squeezes it

Enid... I'm an Addams. We don't believe in sexuality, only love. I've always believed anything less than pansexual is vastly limiting your available choices

She smiles and Enid relaxes, her mouth drops open...
