I was carrying around my books for the next three periods which was thankfully not much since one was a free period and the two others were just a notebook and a pencil. I then saw in the crowded halls a 5'3 blonde boy, Basil. I wanted to hide but I was too tired too might as well just let it happen he accidentally bumped into me.
"I'm so sorry-... Sunny? I uhm.. Didn't expect you to move near here..." Basil said looking a little happy yet nervous and anxious. "..." I didn't respond I just walked away with one of my thumbs up.
"Oh uhm okay! Bye..!" Basil said but started walking to my next class oh no. "Oh do we have this class together?" He asked, what the fuck does it look like dipshit. "...." I didn't say a word good old thumbs up comes in use very well.
"Wanna see if we can sit together?" No. "..." I nodded instead why can't I just say no to him. "Alright!" He smiled what an ugly smile. Never mind I can't say anything mine is worse. We both sat down in our seat unfortunately the teacher assigned me and Basil to sit together why couldn't he just sit me far away from him god he's so annoying.
It was a free period so Basil and I talked well, he talked at me I didn't talk. "How is your new house..?" Please shut up. -thumbs up- "that's good.. I'm trying to re-root all my plants" the only time I liked hearing him was when he didn't stutter and about plants I found earth interesting but never had the motivation to look into plants.
"Is omori back?" I immediately lifted up my head looking at him "how do you know about him." "Huh? About who I was talking about my sunflowers" I must be hearing things.
I put my head back down "...it's nice to hear your voice again sunny.." It's not nice to hear yours again. I nodded.
"I re-rooted the tulips you liked first they were the easiest" I just nodded. "Listen sunny I'm so sorry about what happened in far away town I don't expect you to forgive me no matter how many times I say sorry but I just want you to know I'm genuinely sorry and I want to be friends again can we start off new?" Sorry my ass. You ruined my fucking eye. So why'd I give him a thumbs up?
"....my mom probably won't let you an inch near me though..." I lifted my head looking at him "I know I just won't visit your house" good.
"I don't think Polly would let me and you be alone too but if she's with us we'll be fine" great.
