Back home after the gym, Luke & Lando had left so it was just me. I sat on my bed and looked around contemplating what I was about to do. Maybe now was the time to text Lando. But what was I going to say. Lou had told me to act casual and go with the flow, but that wasn't me. I was the panic and over think type.  I pulled out my phone and clicked Lando's name.

'Hey! It's Millie, super skills sneaking your number to me. Kudos. I was thinking we could maybe meet up tomorrow? If you can get away from Luke? Let me know. M x'

Ok, that wasn't too bad, now to not stress about getting a reply. I checked the time. 3.45pm. I decided to go downstairs and make some food, but I was leaving my phone up here. As I headed down the stairs I heard Mum pull up in the driveway. I popped the kettle on as she came through the door. 'Oooh thanks love, need that today, works been crazy' I smiled as i poured the water into her cup. 'So what's the deal with you and this Lando?' She questioned. I turned back to face her. 'What do you mean? I barely know the guy' I laughed. 'Yes but I know you Millie, you couldn't even look at him' I stared at her. What was I going to say now? 'Sure he's cute, but I can't get involved with a guy that lives 100's of miles away and drives cars at 100's mph. My anxiety would be through the roof' I laughed. Mum looked at me. 'Hmm, okay Millie, whatever you say'. 

Back upstairs I was tucking into my sandwich when I heard my phone buzz. I stopped dead in my tracks. I need to see who this is, for my own sanity. Hands shaking I picked up my phone. 

He had replied.

Unlocking my phone I clicked the message. My heart was beating so fast.

'Hey! So glad it worked, I was beginning to think you either didn't get my number or you just wasn't going to text. Tomorrow works perfect..what would you wanna do? In fact I'll plan something and just let you know the time to be ready for. I'll pick you up, and don't worry I've already got my alibi ready for Luke :') can' wait, L x'

I dropped my phone on my knee and smiled. My god, is he actually interested in me? Was I thinking too much into this? & i'm very intrigued to see what he plans, considering he doesn't know much about me.

'Okay perfect! Please let me know what kind of thing to dress for. This weather is completely bipolar :') I'm kinda nervous but I can't wait either. M x'

For the rest of the evening we exchanged texts, talking about Lando's career, his life outside of the UK, his family. We spoke about my life and what I truly aspired to be as I wasn't loving Uni atm. I'd honestly never laughed out loud at texts before. I hoped he was laughing too, i hope i was funny.  

Before I knew it, it was nearing 12am. 'Hey maybe we should get some shut eye'   I typed. A message bounced back straight away. 'Yeah you're right need my beauty sleep'. I laughed out loud again. He's fuckin beautiful, is he joking. 'I mean yes, i do. Goodnight Lan, see you tommorow x'. Instantly a message was back. 'Mils, you're beautiful. Don't be silly. Goodnight darling x'

My jaw hurt from smiling. Oh lord, i'm really falling for this boy. Lando Norris what have you done to me.
