I ran to my bedside table and grabbed the extra brownies I got from Barbra and my knife. I walked in my bathroom and ripped my shirt off. I slid the knife across my stomach. When I was done I stuffed three brownies in my mouth and cried. That's when I heard a knock on the door at first I thought it was my mom so I didn't answer. I heard the door open. I was going to clean up the blood and hide the knife but I just didn't care anymore. That's when the door opened. "Yara?" a familiar voice said I looked up then looked away in shame. "Yara!" The voice said running over to me and throwing the knife out of my hands. When I looked up Marcus
was looking at me with tears in his eyes. "Yara how can you-" he said as he was about to hug me. I interrupted him by pulling away and getting up.

was going to leave but he didn't. "No," he whispered as he pulled me into a hug. I tried to fight him by pulling away again but he was too strong so I just sat there. A few seconds into the hug I broke down in a fit of tears.
After I sobbed all over Marcus's shirt he sat me on my bed as he cleaned the blood from my bathroom. When he walked out I couldn't look at him. I was scared of what he was going to say. "Yara please you can't do that to
yourself anymore." He said kneeling in front of me with his hands on mine.
"I told you I can't I deserve this I-" I couldn't finish because he was talking over me "No you don't, no one deserves this" he said lifting my head up so
that I was looking at him. "Whatever voice in your head told you to do this to yourself ignore it please" He begged as he got up and sat next to me on the bed. "I'm sorry but I...I don't know how to just ignore it" I said as I
turned away. "I'll help you just please if you ever wanna do that again or you feel like you might, call me" He whispered before I could respond His phone went off. He reached into his pocket and read the text. "It's Barbra
she needs me back home" He said walking over to the bathroom door and picking up a bag I didn't notice was there. "Here it's a bathing suit, Barbra blackmailed me into bringing it because she couldn't" He said handing me a brown bag. I reached in and pulled out a yellow two piece bikini. It was really cute and I really wanted to wear it but I knew with all my new scars I would look like Freddy Kreuger.
