Tae stands in front of the mirror and adjusts his shirt for the fifth time. He's a little nervous and takes a deep breath. He wants to be enough for Jungkook. Jungkook treats him like they're more than just best friends but says otherwise. He's so hard to understand. He gives Taehyung all the attention and love he deserves but sometimes he acts like the bond they shared is just an illusion and there's nothing special between them. Kook doesn't know Tae has come a long long way and now there's no way back. Taehyung never tells the boy with bunny smile about his true feelings. He's afraid if he opens up to Jungkook, he might leave the boy with boxy smile. Taehyung is waiting for the right time when he would confess his emotions to his best friends. Till then he wants to savour every moment with him, every single moment that kook offers him because he's madly in love with Jungkook. His heart has been captivated and he doesn't mind that, even though Jungkook claims that they're just friends and the things they do together are not that deep and they're not destined to be together forever.
He grabs his cologne, hesitates and then spritzes a little on his neck.

A text dings on his phone.

Darling be ready. Ima on my way

He smiles at the message. His heart skips a beat.
He gives himself one last look and approaches towards his apartment door cause kook can be here any moment now.

There's a knock at the door he rushes to open it and there stands the most intimidating male he has ever laid his eyes on

Younger looking stunning in his elegant looks. He never cease to give off most handsome and breathtaking aura.

Younger's breath caught in his throat after looking at older. Taehyung is looking effortlessly beautiful in his casual outfits that complemented his easygoing style.

Kook wondered if he's falling for his best friend or is it normal that everyone finds their best friend pretty. "No no I can't fall for him. He's boy. Also he's my best friend and I'm straight " kook reassures himself in his mind.
"Earth to kook", Tae waves his hand in front of younger because younger seems to forget about his surroundings.

"Let's go. I've to study after coming back. You get marks without putting effort but I've to work hard in order to pass my finals. I'm not that genius", Tae says while picking up his wallet and pointing Jungkook to get out of the apartment so that he could lock the door.

Jungkook starts the engine and Tae gets in the car.

Jungkook's fingers drummed on steering wheel, occasionally glancing at the GPS on his phone mounted on the dashboard. Beside him, Taehyung is fiddling with the radio, searching for a decent station that doesn't plays those noisy music.

"So baby what did you do whole day", Jungkook asks, his voice soft and warm.

"The things his voice does to my heart", Tae chuckles in his mind.

"Nothing productive, kinda wasted my whole day. I couldn't even compel myself to complete my assignment that is due tomorrow. I don't know why but I was too much lazy today. I didn't feel like doing anything today", tae pouts

"baby its ok. You don't have to rush things. Take things easy. I can help you with the assignment if you want later tonight", Jungkook says, eyes flicking to Tae with a playful smirk.

"We'll see about it when the later arrives. Tell me what did you do today" Tae asks leaning back in his seat.

"I slept whole day and then I woke up in the evening for our coffee date and here I am cherishing my sweet time with my buddy", kook replies while keeping his eyes on the road.

"Well you always takes me on dates. Isn't this the thing which couples do?", Tae murmurs, his eyes meeting with jungkook.

"Who says that. Baby there's no such rule that best friends can't go on dates together" kook says without any care.

"But its not normal in any language for best friends to kiss ", Tae almost screamed in his mind but couldn't say louder because he's afraid that Jungkook will stop giving him this treatment and he won't be able to survive the loss.

Jungkook stops in front of a famous coffee shop where they used to come every now and then. Jungkook parks the car and when tae was about to leave the car, he grabs his hand.

"Don't stress yourself by over thinking. Best friends can do whatever they want" Jungkook says while looking deep in Tae's eyes and brings his hand to his lips and softly brushes on his knuckles sending jolt of electricity through Taehyung's body.
"Now let's go. You have to complete your assignment and study for finals after we're done. Hurry up" kook leaves the car without knowing that how badly his acts like these affects Tae's poor heart.
Tae leaves the car and follows Jungkook into the coffee shop.
