Khalid's POV

"Assalamualaikum how are you miss?" I greeted the secretary trying not to vent my anger on her.
"waalaikumsalam, what brings you here Mr," she replied.
"How are you, i'm asking for Mr Deen please," I responded with a straight face.
"hold on a sec," she took the telephone to call him.
"name please," she asked to inform her boss.
"just tell him bro," I cough.

"okay sir," she ended the call.
"you can use the lifter, his office is on the third floor," she directed.
"thank you miss, Assalamualaikum!" I greeted and left.

zahra's pov

"probably we will talk about it tomorrow," I said focusing on my laptop.
I have been very busy on my college applications lately. it's really hard to get through the school I chose for the next academic year. it's really stressful.
"probably?" Jamila asked blinking. I looked at her feeling annoyed
"I mean we can talk about it now you know. I have the entire time in the world," she said getting up from her seat.
"you know," she paused.
"it's your choice though, I'm upstairs you can call me when you need me," she took my Pringles and climb upstairs.

Yasir POV

The secretary just called, saying someone wants to see me, at this time of the day? This is serious, or perhaps  the person don't know how busy I can get at these hours.

"the coffee is here sir," he said placing the cup of coffee on my desk.
"thank you," I said and he left.
"knocked knocked," someone started knocking all of a sudden.
"come in please," I said and I heard him opening it.
"well who do we have here, Assalamualaikum akhi," I said getting up from my seat to shake Khalid's hands but he move away replying only to the salam. I know something was off so I just gestured him to sit and I return back to my seat.
"so what brings you here," I said staring at his brown eye balls. He is a gentleman.
"this is how you look at zahra right?" I blink twice confused about whatever he is referring to.
"I came here just to show you how bad, horrible and pathetic you've become," his deadly eyes pierce through my heart.
"if it's about zahra u can leave, I have lot of work to do," I replied free mindedly.
"we are going to settle this today either hook or crook ok," he shouted. I just ignored him and continue with my work cuz I know what he wants and I won't give it to him.
"Yasir I am talking," He forcefully stands up and knock the table loudly until the coffee spilled on the papers I was working on. I looked at him for a second trying to scan the entire issue.
"You cheater. you have nothing to say, all you can manage to do is lie about your mom to protect yourself," he shouted. I lifted my hand furiously to point my fingers at the door.
"again you may leave." I'm trying to fight my nafs but I bet I will fail Soon.
"nasty, your best friend's love. how could you," he spit in my left over coffee and grab my collar but I released myself. I took his hand and flip it dailing the security guard to come and get him before I do something cuz I'm boiling inside and I can't take it anymore.
"Haha haha calling security? how unmanly. nasty nasty nasty," he said laughing. I can't!
"get out of my office! now!," I shouted. He walks closer to me and push me on the table. The coffee pot fell and the hot coffee heat my hand. I forcefully stand right up and hold his collar pushing him directly to the chair. I made him sit on the chair and was about to give him a punch when the security guard arrived.
"sir leave him, I will handle this," I came back to my senses and realized what I was about to do, that I was about to kill my best friend because of  woman.

The security guard took him out and I was finally feeling myself again. I went to the bathroom and perform ablution. when I came out I pack all my stuff and call the manager telling him that I wasn't feeling well. I prayed and went directly to the hospital to dress my burn. The coffee burnt my hand and I didn't realize it until when I was trying to perform ablution. The burn wasn't that deep thou.
