I nodded at Gildarts-sensai and looked around the room. A certain raven haird guy caught my eye. He seemed to have been staring at me and turned his face.

It's not a surprise. Probably wondering how a girl could be this ugly.

"Anyways, I need to go check with the principle about something. I'll be right back class." Gildarts-sensai said.

He left the room and everyone got up and started talking. I just sat and stared forward. Then I heard talking from behind me.

"Hey, my mom found this stupid puppy yesterday."

"Really? Psh you should just toss it into a dumpster."

"I know right?"

I clenched my teeth and turned my head.

"You don't treat pets that way you assholes!"

They both looked at me and glared. One of them walked towards me and held up a hand as if to slap me. I shut my eyes and prepared for the impact, but it never came. I opened my eyes.

The raven haired guy had grabbed the guy's hand and was glaring at him.

"Don't hit a girl you douche." He growled.

"S-sorry!"

Both of the guys ran off to their desk.

I blushed a little and and looked at the guy.

He blushed a teeny bit as well.

"A-ano.. thank you.."

"It's no problem. The name's Gray Fullbuster."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Juvia Lockser."

He laughed a little.

"I know that. You just introduced yourself." XD

I facepalmed.

"Oops."

He smiled.

"Wanna have lunch with me and my friends after class?"

I looked at him in surprise. Why would he invite an emotionless and empty girl like me to eat with him?

"Sure."
