Occasionally in life, there were moments of pure surrealism. As Y/n Yagi sat next to her father in the passenger seat of their vehicle, dressed in her UA uniform, driving for her first day of school, she deemed it to be one of those times.

Her mind could not comprehend the occurring reality. It seemed impossible that she had really done it. Yet, it was as true as could be. She was in fact on her way to her first day of the UA hero course.

The feeling sunk even deeper as the school's building came into view. Her dreams were unfolding into true, tangible reality.

"Do you want me to drop you off so you can walk in from the front entrance like everyone else?" All Might asked as they approached the school. He saw his daughter's excitement reflecting in her eyes. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't somewhat living vicariously through her and Izuku Midoriya (who she had no knowledge of as of yet).

Y/n shrugged with a smile, "I don't mind. I can drive in with you or walk. Either way, I'll get there on time." He couldn't deny that her response warmed his heart. She was simply happy to be there.

She ended up driving into the teacher's lot with him. She gave him a tight hug before slinging her backpack over her shoulder and embarking on her journey through the halls of UA. She figured it'd make good navigation practice.

'Where are you 1-A?' She thought as she scanned each door with a careful glance. Eventually, she found herself waking for far too long. Perhaps she was lost. Luckily her father made a point of arriving early. He knew the building was essentially a labyrinth for new students.

From not too far away there was a high-pitched squeal. "Oh. My. Gosh. Are you a first-year?! You are so cute!!"

Before Y/N could process what had just been said to her, a tall third-year girl with long periwinkle blue hair stood before her with a large smile. "Are you lost? You look lost. I can help you find your way! I'm Neijire Hado!"

Y/n put on a smile. "Some help would be wonderful. I'm Y/N Yagi."

"Aw, your name is so pretty! You know, you kinda look like All Might. Did you know he's working here now? Isn't that exciting?! Say, what's your class?" Neijire was all over the place but she was a sweetheart nonetheless.

Y/n chuckled awkwardly at the comparison to her father and chose to ignore the comment. People would find out her pedigree soon enough. She focused on the later part of her inquiry. "I'm in class 1-A."

"Oh! I know where that is! Right this way!" Neijire exclaimed, grabbing her wrist and dragging her through the UA halls. She talked up a storm the whole way there but Y/n didn't mind. She actually rather liked Neijire and her fast-paced personality.

It was a surprisingly short trip. Y/n was closer to her classroom than she had thought. Neijire quickly stopped and exclaimed before a huge door, "And we're here! Have a good first day, Yagi! Let me know if you need anything else! Think of me as your new upperclassman bestie!"
