After my interaction with Leah I go to the living room and as I'm going to sit on the couch i feel someone pull me to their lap so i look and see that it's Paul.

"First, there are the stories about our ancestors, the Quileute tribe. Then there are the legends of the Cold Ones, the blood-drinkers, the immortal ones. It's all just a story, you know. Something we pass on from generation to generation to scare our children. Are you frightened?"

He just said that it's a story because there were humans at the bonfire, which were Emily's cousins, so he hid the truth.

He explains that according to Quileute legends, they are descended from wolves, and their ability to transform into werewolves is tied to this heritage. Billy also warns us about the dangers associated with vampires.

Billy refers to vampires as "cold ones" during the bonfire. He warns us about the Quileute tribe's ancestral legends which depict vampires, or "cold ones," as dangerous creatures who prey on humans. Billy cautions everyone to be wary of them and emphasizes the tribe's longstanding belief in the existence and threat of these supernatural beings.

Then once again he says that it's just a story that they use to scare children which makes everyone laugh.

After the bonfire we all go home and I call Charlie to tell him that I'm gonna stay over at Sam's house, which is basically the pack house, but I don't tell him that, then he says okay so I go over to the living room where everyone was, watching TV, except Seth.
