In the serene garden of the Roswaal mansion, Subaru diligently raked the fallen leaves while Puck floated nearby, his small, ethereal form casting a gentle glow.

Puck hovered closer, his tiny voice tinged with curiosity. “Subaru, what are you doing here?”

Subaru sighed, wiping sweat from his brow. “Ram’s feeling under the weather today, so I’m covering some of her duties. Not quite what I had planned for the day.”

Rem approached with a sympathetic smile. “That’s unfortunate, Subaru. You always end up helping out when you can.”

Emilia joined them, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “The weather is so nice today, Subaru. I thought of inviting you to a picnic, but since you’re busy…”

Before Subaru could reply, a loud bang startled them all, making Puck nearly drop his usual playful demeanor.

“Bang!”

Subaru jumped, wide-eyed. “No problem!”

Emilia looked puzzled. “Huh?”

Another bang resonated, louder this time, followed by a strange croaking noise. The sound seemed to come from beyond the hedges.

Subaru glanced around nervously. “Just give me a second! I’ll finish up in no time—”

Suddenly, a gigantic frog, shimmering with iridescent colors, burst through the bushes, croaking loudly.

Emilia gasped. “What is that?”

Puck fluttered, looking equally perplexed. “It looks…different—”

Subaru tried to sound confident despite the absurdity of the situation. “No problem! It might be weird and rainbow-colored, but—”

The frog's croak grew louder, more menacing. “Wooioooooooaaaashhhhh!”

Subaru's eyes widened. “What the hell!”

Puck floated closer to the frog, observing its long, flickering tongue. “It has a long tongue, Subaru.”

" No! It's not time to play!"

Emilia pointed in horror as the frog's tongue shot out, wrapping around them all in one swift motion. “I can’t believe it— it caught us all in one go—”

With a sudden, wet snap, they were all pulled into the frog’s cavernous mouth.

Subaru awoke to a foul, unfamiliar smell, blinking in the harsh sunlight. Instead of the Roswaal mansion, he found himself lying on cobblestones in front of a bustling town gate.

“Ugh… where am I?” Subaru groaned, clutching his head.

Rem knelt beside him, relief evident in her eyes. “Are you finally awake, Subaru-kun?”

Subaru squinted, trying to orient himself. “I am—but what is that awful smell?”

Emilia looked around, equally disoriented. “It seems like we were all swallowed… by that giant frog. The next thing we know, we’re in front of this town gate.”

Puck perched on Emilia’s shoulder, surveying their surroundings. “Pretty sure that’s a city, Emilia.”

Subaru turned to Puck, desperate for answers. “Do you know what’s going on, Puck?”

Pucksighed, shaking his tiny head. “First off, we’re not in our city anymore. I guess the frog’s stomach works like some kind of teleportation spell. That explains why I felt so weird when I first saw it.”

A strange noise caught Subaru’s attention, interrupting his thoughts.

“What’s that sound?” he asked, peering down the street.
